So I was right that you wrote about the river behind your parents house. (It came up once in the parenting dicussion.) It reminded me to my uncle’s house, which was near the White Cart Water. I remember very well exploring it as a little boy - unattended!

think so. went for an interview, they said they’d be in touch end of this week.
I fill all their criteria they said.
Other half reckoned that was a polite way of saying I filled their office, and I either need to loose weight or keep my mouth shut.
Needless to say it is very quiet in my house, he has gone to the pub, which was the safest option. ( for him)
and I didn’t mention Madeleine in the interview. Not even when I was going did I say whoosh clunk as the door shut.

Some time ago PeterMac asked me to repeat on a daily basis my analysis of possibilities. I didn’t, yet think it may be time now to do it again, as nothing musch else is happening. So:
Leaving aside all theories about timeslots, cover-up, conspiracy, high connections, pharmaceutical accidents, etc. it all boils down to 10 possible explanations about her disappearance:
1. She has been abducted/taken by a stranger and is alive
2. She has been abducted/taken by a stranger and is dead
3. She has been abducted/taken by someone they know and is alive
4. She has been abducted/taken by someone they know and is dead
5. She wandered off, was found by stranger[s] and is alive
6. She wandered off, was found by stranger[s] and is dead
7. She accidentally died and was removed
8. She was killed by a stranger and was removed by same
9. She was killed by someone they know and was removed
10. She was killed by one of her parents
In only 3 out of 10 possibilities she’s still ALIVE.
Nr. 1: Their claims and actions do stick, however, they never give the impression of being sleepless and sick at the idea of their daughter being with a paedophile since NINE months …
Nr. 3: an unforgivable cover-up at best …
Nr. 5: They themselves fiercely reject possibility nr. 5 in line with their statement that she wouldn’t have been able to open the door.
In all other cases she’s DEAD.
Only nrs. 2, 6 and 8 would exclude their direct involvement in her death.
In ALL cases they’re guilty of their gross negligence, which allowed it all to happen!
In cases nrs. 3, 4, 7, 9 and 10 they’re guilty of criminal cover-up, gross misleading of the public, obstruction of justice and fraudulent moneymaking.
In case 7 they’re probably also guilty of involuntary manslaughter.
In case 10 ….
Oh, I forgot Nr. 11: she did not disappear in PdL.

The point is the mcs said they would take a lie detector test and when they were asked to take it they backed out.WHY ????

MikeSA, the fact is against all the evidence, including your favourite lie detector test he was executed. Is there some part of, that if this lie detector test is so wonderful and it works how come they executed him, that you do not understand. Lie detectors are useless and do not work, so why do people like you promote them, you see it’s not as if he failed it and they executed him, he passed it and they executed him, but you don’t see that as relevant, because it flies in the face of your agenda. My apologies, I thought your approach was dishonest and reeked of ulterior motives.
I had difficulty believing that you genuinely couldn’t grasp the issues under discussion, so that is my fault.
There are 2 issues being discussed regarding the lie detector tests.
The FIRST one, which was NOT the discussion we were engaged in, was the value of such a test for McC’s as a PR exercise. That is what I had been discussing earlier.
The SECOND one, which was what the examples of trials etc were about, was discussing whether these tests had ever been used to adversely affect the outcome of any trial.
Totje raised the spectre of innocent people being sent to jail, and guilty people escaping justice.
That is a totally seperate discusion to whether the test would have been a useful PR tool if done by the McC’s.
I would have thought that was a relatively simple concept to grasp.
That does not make me an ardent proponent of the use of such tests in court cases.
I clearly stated that I saw it as a powerful PR tool available to the McC’s, and the fact that they did not make use of that tool, along with numerous other tools and situations they could and should have, reflected badly on them.
That is a completely seperate issue to the discussion on any examples of tests that had led to miscarraigaes of justice, something I am quite willing to accept as likely, but the example you provided did not illustrate that at all, despite your claim that it did.
That was really poor debate, sorry.
