Get well soon Gazza. We were introduced by Paul Bastock when you came to play for Boston United , I found you a friendly guy. No One deserves the problems they say you have had over the last few years. you just got in with the wrong crowd which is easerly done.
So make a speedy recovery and hopefully back on the pitch soon

I hope gazza gets to read all the good comments sent by well wishers, a very vulnerable person, get well soon gazza and remember all the good things you did for people, the little people you gave hope and inspiration to.

I agree.
Not the brightest young man so he was vulnerabe to all the users and abusers who hung around him, encouraged his excesses and helped him blow his very high earnings! Not a true friend among them.
His ex-wife and wannabee mowdel step-daughter STILL trade on his name.
So sad. Hope he gets the right help now.
And I feel exactly the same about Britney Spears. Used and abused by everyone and tipped over the edge…….

Indeed, get well.
A young kid who was simply brilliant at football but somehow never grew up and was no way built to deal with the adulation and hype surrounding his career. Too many people saying yes to nim and not enough father figures to put an arm around his shoulders during the bad times.
All the stories I hear of him are of a man with his heart firmly in the right place, the only exception being the one off tretment of his wife. Perhaps the world was never going to be perfect enough for one as him. God bless you Gazza. This world was never meant for one as talented as you!
