Is Madeleine McCann Disappearing From The UK Press?
THE Anorak has been watching the media’s treatment of the Madeleine McCann story for some months.
The tragedy of a missing child was turned into a media feeding frenzy, a grim story with any gaps in the narrative plugged with speculation and voyeurism.
We were invited to become sleuths, armchair detectives working out who had done what and how. Nothing meaningful has been achieved by this. Madeleine McCann is missing.
Who cannot feel for those involved? Who would want to be them?
Now Anorak learns from a reader that the Madeleine McCann story may be disappearing from the British press, and newspapers’ websites.
Anorak’s team of moderators seeks to weed out libellous comments and anyone making accusations against individuals they cannot back up. We seek not to mirror the press but show you how the story is presented by media outlets to their audiences. Now read this:

Madeleine McCann is vanishing from the British Press
Every single story in the Daily Express and in the Daily Star regarding Madeleine McCann has disappeared.
This was the answer given by the Daily Express’ online editor, Geoff Marsh:
“Hi xxx, Many thanks for your email. For operational reasons, some articles previously available on express.co.UK have been temporarily removed. I’m afraid I can’t go into any more detail. Best wishes, Geoff”
And from the web team of Daily Express:
“Hi xxx

I assure you, we do value you - and your input.
Daily Express
Due to operational reasons, a number of stories which previously appeared on express.co.uk have been made temporarily unavailable.Apologies if this causes any inconvenience or disrupts your use of our website.
I’m afraid I can’t go into any more detail.
However I would like to emphasise once again that we value your readership - and are grateful for your ongoing support of express.co.uk.

The sun’s gone down, a warm balmy night, the wine is flowing, good company and friends, quiz about to start, candlelight glowing in their eyes, laughter and a little flirting. Is it Anorak or tapas?
———————————————————————————–
feeling a little deserted around about now.. has everyone gone to check on their kids???
will someone come rushing back.. shouting they’ve taken her??
If so - can i finish off all the tapas???

They would have had a far more relaxed dinner if all the kids had been included imo.

Grande - many questions about childcare arrangements…
It was reported that they requested appartments close together when they discovered that the resort had no baby listening service. - why bother if each of you is only going to check on your own children???
Checking on each others children is never mentioned - hence all the comings and goings on may 3rd. Why them was Dr Oldfield going to check on the mcc’s children at 9.30pm??
who in their right mind would organise their care in such a why that it totally disrupts the dinner??? Arrive at table 8.55pm, Obrian leaves to check kids 9.05, G mcc checks 9.10pm ???
it is all so weird. They would have had a far more relaxed dinner if all the kids had been included imo.
Does anyone have a link to the reconstruction of the tapas movements that night?? please

Not vouching for their parental abilities, at all, just pointing out that they were using some sort of monitoring device. Theirs supposedly worked. O’Brien and Tanner had brought a monitor with them, too, but theirs didn’t work well enough (or at all) to use.
None of the Tapas group were adequately providing for their children’s safety and welfare, according to what we know about their methods from the media.

From media reports, I believe that David and Fiona Payne had a working baby monitor at the table with them, listening for children waking. Perhaps they felt this was enough, without having to go to their apartment to personally check on their infant.
******************
Their apartment was even further away and on the 1st floor, it probably wasn’t visible from the tapas bar and they didn’t even check once an hour? Definitely outside the bounds of responsible parenting IMO. If I remember correctly the child monitors where not working properly because of the distance.

Maybe someone whos sphincter is quivering has bought up the Mirror, Express and Star.
Expect name changes.
Maybe : ‘The Double Glazing Express’, ‘The Virgin Mirror’ or maybe even the ‘Rowling out the News’.
IMHO that is.

And, on the other hand, they must be exhausted to organize spins, lies, fakes, make ups… The money is running out, and also their strenghts… Have gone too far and now they simply cannot continue

This counts more than anythingelse.May be people are gathering in portuagl to do what TB did and couldnt achieve because the case has no jurisdiction in the case but in portugal yes….
