According to a radio report, he ‘refused’ to attend to court today to hear his sentence being handed down.

I would have thought that he weold have had no say in the matter, and that attendance was compulsory; hogtied and tazered if need be….

What evil bastard gloats about his victims? Killers don’t even have the remorse to plead guilty and avoid the agony of putting relatives through a trial, not to mention the cost.

Bellfield should, at the very least, end the pain of other victims parents and families who desperately want to know that the person who killed their relative is behind bars.

Those found guilty after pleading innocent should, perhaps, get a longer sentence. Immaterial in this case and the other 2 sentenced to a life term recently, though.

The recent cases in this country are very sobering and point to the empty and morally bankrupt society we inhabit.
