“I later recognised him on television. I am sure it was him…She was awake but silent. She was just staring ahead with big owlish eyes. I noticed her eye because my son was born with a defect much the same. I saw her kind of twist her chin a few times in my rear-view mirror. I remember she was in pink pyjamas and wondered why they hadn’t dressed her.”
Says McCann spokesman Clarence Mitchell: “We are dismissing this primarily because the timings are entirely wrong.”

It’s Mother’s Day on Sunday, and those of us lucky enough to have children can expect to be given cards and flowers. As the investigation enters its second week, Joseph Furniture, based in Bradley, Huddersfield, has put up a £5,000 reward for any information that leads to Shannon’s safe return.

The house where missing schoolgirl Shannon Matthews’ mum is staying was searched by police yesterday. Officers with sniffer dogs trained to find human remains were sent in to track down clues to the nine-year-old’s disappearance.
The house in Dewsbury, West Yorks, belongs to family friend Peter “Scouser” Brown, 34, who lives just a few doors from Shannon’s mum Karen and her boyfriend Craig Meehan, 22.
Shannons’ parents are not doctors. There is no media feeeding frenzy.

Gandolf, I totally agree, why would the priest need to say he would take their words to the grave?? Was that the only subtle hint he could give due to his position? But one thing i have read about him is that he has been a troubled man since the McCanns went to him for confession.

Garth I simply dont know maybe she woke up a little disorientated and bumped her head,maybe as the pj first report said she opened the door and went outside and fell down the steps,fractured skull maybe,I dont think I go for the mad sex peado games that alot of people go on about but I do believe a tragic accident and parents tried to save their own skin by trying to cover up,Garth why all the contradictions from tapas lot, why the time changes from gerry,why lie about checking on kids, why didnt wilkins see jane tanner she was supposed to have passed them in the street, why an egg man with no face, them months down the line she described him well enough for someone to be pulled in,why just the feet hanging out of the blanketat the beginning,then months later she described the pjs madeleine was wearing,and on it goes,I have posted and watched anorak since august last, and have never had a confrontation with you or anyone really, yes I like a laugh and sometimes there is only me laughing,I respect your views and hope you respect mine,but just one more question if the mccs get off,then I will say oh sorry I was wrong,will you do the same if they are found guilty?

Del, why would the PJ pounce, if they have evidence why not just issue or apply for a Euro warrant and arrest whoever, conclusion, they aint got any evidence.
The FSS haven’t exactly covered themselves in glory either, according to their report there is no viable forensics, and that includes the dogs “finds”.
IMO take Murat and his girlfriend, add any two from 3, Russian geezer, pool guy or priest, thats your 4, allegedly.
The priest knows something, of that I am reasonably sure, why else would he, “take their words to the grave”.

THEY have been playing the victim role and you know it as much as you know the only victim is the little wee girl.
Nobody has turned on them.THEY turned themselves on themselves.
They refused to answer questions put forward
They set up a whole mediatic circus
They employ high profile criminologist to defend them why???
They didnt look for Madeleine OTHERS did it for them.
They legged it to England instead of staying in portugal and give credibilty to THEIR story.
If they knew something they should have come forward and speak up arguidos or not.
THIS would speak for themselves
I am afraid now….they have lost even if they are not charged

When did you say this to other posters, who also mentioned the other children that have disappeared?
No matter how Madeleine disappeared, no matter what her parents did or didn’t do, Madeleine is one of the many missing children, and any ’sins’ of the parents can’t be held onto their children.
If it annoys you, please skip my posts, but please don’t tell me what to do or not.

I hate to say this as well but people really feel for little innocents! And by that I mean tots. Dont get me wrong we all feel the same for any youngones but the innocence of toddlers really hits people hard.

They are prime suspects in a CRIMINAL investigation.
This status is given to people the authoriries suspect they have committed an offense.
To be arguidos also gave them rights and especially the right to shut up .
They went the opposite way: they never stopped defending themselves and play the “poor me I am a victim”.
I am deeply disgusted by their lack of respect and dignity

But jo, in short they were victims. They were victims of the Portuguese law. How can you expect them to be silent when they (at least) belive their daughter was abducted and the Pj ( whose only hope of finding their daughter rested on ) turned on themselves.
If they were guilty then maybe the would have shutup. The very fact that they have persisted in the search for their daughter paints a different picture. Dont you think?

Still we dont know if shannon mathews has been abducted yet do we? but yet not one High profile person in sight,no reward money(oh beg to differ) an asian buisness man has put a reward of £5000 up, and good on him, but no one of any clout is there, hell its taken until today for a bloody councilor to say anything,and yes respect again for mccans being in a foreign country, but still a hell of a lot of high profiles on their side……..oh and leone lewis has sent her wishes to the parents of shannon…..good on her as well…

Jo, with all due respect. Madeleine is a victim here, it does not matter that her surname is McCann! Madeleine, Mari-Luz, Shannon, etc are all in the same boat, they are victims of a sick world … you simply CANNOT put the blame on a child for the name she carries.
