“I later recognised him on television. I am sure it was him…She was awake but silent. She was just staring ahead with big owlish eyes. Says McCann spokesman Clarence Mitchell: “We are dismissing this primarily because the timings are entirely wrong.”

It’s Mother’s Day on Sunday, and those of us lucky enough to have children can expect to be given cards and flowers. But with Madeleine McCann and the schoolgirl Shannon Matthews still missing, Milly Dowler’s stricken parents making a heartrending appeal for information about their daughter’s murder, and the reminders again of the brutal killing of young women by Steve Wright and Levi Bellfield, I rather think it should be the other way round.

As the investigation enters its second week, Joseph Furniture, based in Bradley, Huddersfield, has put up a £5,000 reward for any information that leads to Shannon’s safe return.
In a statement the firm said: “As a company that was founded in Dewsbury and a former employer of Shannon’s uncle, Neil Hyett, we feel a social and moral responsibility to aid with reuniting Shannon Matthews with her beloved family.”

The house where missing schoolgirl Shannon Matthews’ mum is staying was searched by police yesterday. Officers with sniffer dogs trained to find human remains were sent in to track down clues to the nine-year-old’s disappearance.
The house in Dewsbury, West Yorks, belongs to family friend Peter “Scouser” Brown, 34, who lives just a few doors from Shannon’s mum Karen and her boyfriend Craig Meehan, 22.
Shannons’ parents are not doctors. There is no media feeeding frenzy.

I just dont get the how people can compare mainly pro mccs,with the bulger case they are just trying to justyfy their argument, the mother did not leave him, he wandered off,two ten year olds took him and tortured him.
where is the comparison….????? Holly and jessica murdered by huntley were their parents guilty of neglect,it just goes on and on, sorry but pro mccs are sick in the head and will bring anything up to justyfy their daft arguments in the defence of mccs…….who deliberately left their children not one but three, and not one night but several,just to go on the piss……..please tell me it isnt me who is loosing it…………….have i gone mad?

I get the feeling maybe they will answer more questions to the British authorities than to the PJ. They have tried to intimidate the Pj into not asking too many questions as I see it (just an impression). But why not, if they thought they shouldn’t be suspected?
Of course, their status will be lifted in the end if they are cleared after the investigation is over. Can’t they give time to the PJ? Don’t you see that, since October, the PJ try to complete their investigation with the interviews? Maybe you don’t understand why the interviews are necessary, but as long as the Pj and English police think they are, let them do it.

What I find strange is that some “pros” will call me a monster because I want the Pj to be able to investigate on a case which took place in their country.
We don’t even know what evidence they have, because of the secrecy laws. All the PJ have done is ask questions to the parents and witnesses, as they should, and given them the arguido status, which is their right. But the press, the Pr, the public, can’t stand it. The MCs claim that they are victims, that the PJ is hopeless, while they organise their private investigation and do a lot of spinning. The press conference with the sketches was extraordinary! The anti-PJ campaign, for someone on the outside like me, has been astonishing.
Contrary to what is said here by the trolls, most of us don’t wish to take the law into our hands at all, we just want the law and justice to prevail.
