Bruce Robben Flee And The Bikers
TO a Sydney bar. Two men are planning a robbery. They are carrying machetes. They are wearing balaclavas.
It is 8:50pm. The Regents Park Sporting Club is unsuspecting. They burst in. Everybody down!
But the robbers failed to notice 50 members of the Southern Cross Cruiser Club enjoying a drink in the nearby auditorium.
“Fifty of us jumped out of our seats and raced out to the main bar,” says club president Jerry “Jester” van Cornewal.
A villain sees them. He charges through the glass, leaps off a five-metre balcony and runs through a bowling green.
Another villain is caught. He is treated in hospital for minor injuries. The other man is arrested in streets nearby.

Knowing the Aussi’s that I’m sure that would have been the ‘Southern Cross Boozer Club’?
