Madeleine McCann suspect Robert Murat, 34, last night spoke of his joy that he looks likely to be officially cleared in days.
After having his computers returned, he said at his Praia da Luz home last night: “I’m so relieved.”
No mention of the Mirror’s super sleuth Lori Campbell who fingered “weird” Murat.
DAILY MAIL: “Murat could soon be cleared as Madeleine suspect after police return his possessions”

His lawyer Francisco Pagarete said: “The police received an order from the public prosecutor to give everything back to Robert. All his items have been returned. We believe it is another step towards his clearance as a suspect. It’s a good sign.
“But we will have to wait and see. There is nothing official saying his status as an arguido is being revoked.”
Even if yesterday the Sunday People had “CLEARED” him.
No word from the The Mail’s Neil Sears, who told us: “There was something more to the friendly expat who called himself ‘Rob’ than met the eye.” Murat made Sears “feel slightly uncomfortable”.

Words, words, words. According to me, the important issue isn’t to qualify their involvement into “direct” or “indirect”. They are no doubt directly involved because they are the parents, and as such, in care. The important issue is to know what they have done.

These comprise The Murat Files, and are the address and phone numbers of one M.Clifford, publicist. The notes referred to the fee negotiation. £1m? £3m?

Don’t you mean “guilty” instead of “involved”? “Direct” would mean they “abducted” the child themselves ; “indirect” meaning the child disappeared because being left alone?. And “issue” would mean “theory about what happened”.
It is either :
- one “issue” and not the other (child left alone, then no abduction),
- or one and the other (child left alone, then abduction).

Woolfall works for Bell Pottinger. Michael Frolich also works for BP and was in PDL the week before Madeleine disappeared.
Woolfall’s stories are all shrouded in mystery. He claims to have sent Gerry’s photos to the press in London on May 5 but the PDL photos including the pool picture didn’t make the public domain until May 24.
Considering they didn’t know if Madeleine would be found quickly or not, why employ an expert in pharmaceutical tampering after only 1 or 2 days? I mean…if Madeleine was found early, there wouldn’t be a crisis would there? Woolfall was there for 2 weeks at least.
The photos are all safe…I have loads of Woolfall with the McCanns from those early days…and loads of Clarence with the McCanns from the early days too…
