Madeleine McCann suspect Robert Murat, 34, last night spoke of his joy that he looks likely to be officially cleared in days.
After having his computers returned, he said at his Praia da Luz home last night: “I’m so relieved.”
No mention of the Mirror’s super sleuth Lori Campbell who fingered “weird” Murat.

His lawyer Francisco Pagarete said: “The police received an order from the public prosecutor to give everything back to Robert. All his items have been returned. We believe it is another step towards his clearance as a suspect. It’s a good sign.
“But we will have to wait and see. There is nothing official saying his status as an arguido is being revoked.”
Even if yesterday the Sunday People had “CLEARED” him.
No word from the The Mail’s Neil Sears, who told us: “There was something more to the friendly expat who called himself ‘Rob’ than met the eye.” Murat made Sears “feel slightly uncomfortable”.

Says hi mother, Jenny Murat, 74: “Every single item that the police took has been returned to us. Of course we hope it means Robert’s arguido status will be lifted shortly. But we’ve had no official confirmation that that is the case and we’re not getting too excited.”

Stevo- it’s a waste of time arguing many of the details - like talking to JWs - which reminds me - why is Brian Kennedy so interested in supporting the McCanns? No matter how much money he throws at it the search by M3 (I will give it the title of search but I am not sure what they have done of any use) is going nowhere - hardly good business sense.

This area is a huge problem for Team McCann. The ’snatched from holiday apartment’ angle was international headline news at 6.30 am on morning of 4th May. Only hours after the initial alarm being raised and while an active search was still going on.
What plonkers the BBC and Sky would have looked if a local brought Madeleine into the police station at 7.00 am. saying they found her in their garden asleep.
This is why stories like these usually take a day to be reported. Because if every time a child went missing it was international headline news there would be no time to report anything else.

Yes, I know he joined the company close to the event. Did you know Michael Frolich of BP was already in PDL? He was there about a week prior to May 3.
There’s a few photos out there of GM wearing the pool clothes and Amelie wearing the pink sun hat from the pool photo on May 12. It begs the question “was the pool photo staged while Mr Woolfall was in town?”

You miss the point. The call went in to the FO at 23:58pm. Hardly enough time for the story to hit the Telegraph 3 mins later. Some would say impossible. It smacks of the story already being prepared and with the Telegraph a long time before the FO were called.

People who worked for the Government’s spin doctor department are very adept at using the press for their own ends.
Clarence Mitchell had Mr Roy Greenslade sat with him at the LSE Event in London in January. Professor Greenslade (journalism Professor) is the one who wrote the scathing article the day after the Express payout. No wonder - he’s a Team McCann player and in cahoots with CM. When you see people mixing together and then they write nice things about each other or support each other there’s a fair bet they are on the same wavelength.
When you can recognise how the press is manipulated it’s easier to join the dots and see the big picture.

Why did Kate scream “They’ve taken her?” when she discovered Madeleine had gone? Did she know her daughter was being stalked? If so, how?

How is it possible DNA traces belonging to Madeleine were found in the McCanns’ hired Renault Scenic more than four weeks after she disappeared?

Why did one of the sniffer dogs specialising in the detection of bodies go directly to the hire car?
Question 4
Why did another dog appear to detect something suspicious about Madeleine’s Cuddle Cat?
Question 5
Exactly who was in the tapas bar and who went to visit the children who were asleep? At what times?

Why have there been differing reports of the McCanns’ movements on the evening Madeleine disappeared?

Why did Kate McCann, who is Catholic, mark a passage in the Bible which talks about the death of a child?
Question 8
What did the McCanns do in the four hours before the alarm was raised?
Question 9
What did Kate do before sitting down to dinner with the group of friends?

How many times in the four hours prior to the discovery that Madeleine was missing did the McCanns go to see their children?

Why did Matthew Oldfield not go into the McCanns’ apartment to check on their children, choosing instead to simply listen at the door?

Why did Russell O’Brien leave the restaurant for half an hour, returning at the same time Kate was screaming that Madeleine had been kidnapped?

Why did Mr O’Brien’s partner Jane Tanner, who arrived late at the meal, not see Gerry standing at the entrance to the holiday complex talking with a friend?

Why do the McCanns feel persecuted by the authorities?

I read only today that the McCanns moved into another apartment provided by Mark
Warner, but said they wanted a bigger place with a garden and swimming pool. They
apparently moved, then moved again to a larger place, presumably to accommodate
their Family and Friends. It”s not stated that they rented these properties since they were both on the market for sale.

Gandolf tried to show a different story from the Telegraph to prove it wasn’t released at 12:01am on May 4. Gandolf didn’t realise I had a letter from the Foreign Office.
Why these people spin story after story is beyond me. They are just disrespectful to Madeleine McCann and seem to want to protect the T9 at all costs. Barmy or what?

I think he point Im trying to make here stevo is that Kate at the time (and especially in her hysteria) may well have said what she believed at the time. But that doesnt mean she was lying. And Jon Corner might have interpreted it wrongly or the paper might have.
