Leona Lewis has had 3 #1s in the UK, #1Album + Deluxe Album went in at #1 also! Beyonce and Leona are completely different singers.. Leona does not have the vocal ability that Mariah Carey has .. everyone knows that! but her style is the same as Mariah.. and she is learning and getting better as the days go on.. Aint no stopping her now!! and if you want to compare Beyonce to A “reality tv star” then compare her to Alexandra Burke.. who is more like her! (Alexandra Burke won the same show that Leona did last year!)

I too don’t understand how Leona can be compared to mariah? and yes she will need to kick her skirt up! these days you have to be an all round performer to make it, especially in the US, the brits seem to be happy with just vocals, ala winehouse, joss stone, duffy etc, (all of whom are fine vocalists with different styles) I think Beyonce hasn’t done herself any good to take Leona’s song “Halo” and then try to sing it just like leona, she also took Victoria Beckhams song: “don’t know why you love me”- which of course she smashed (in a good way) but I just don’t think it looks good taking other peoples songs, why not write your own? we all know she can) AS for comparing Leona to Beyonce, it’s going to be done, especially when Beyonce is taking her songs! (and trying to sing it like her!) but what Beyonce has accomplished can not be taken away by ONE NUMBER ONE HIT from another female singer! but them again some people are major sell-outs always sucking up to what’s new! I like both of them, but I have to say I have all Beyonce’s albums and their all good, hit after hit, I like Leona but didn’t buy her album because I found it quite boring besides a few of the songs, mainly the ones written by the guy who wrote bleeding love and halo and the current song Leona has in the charts? Everytime I hear Halo I think it’s Leona at times then realize it’s not, I don’t think Beyonce should have taken the song, it makes her look stupid, she’s such a big star already, why take some Brit girl who made it on a TV show’s song? (and for the record I don’t have anything against the fact leona made it on a TV show because she is very talented and the TV show has nothing to do with her natural singing ability) I’m just saying why would Beyonce feel the need to take her song? it doesn’t make sense to me? oh and with regard to looks, body, sex appeal of course Beyonce wins hands down! even if she is an alter ego conforming to the wants of society and the media! Leona is herself, (british singers tend to stick to just being themselves and vocalists, whereas American singers are dancers, actors, have clothes lines and perfumes etc etc, they are a PRODUCT!) anyway each to their own I like them both but Leona has a long way to go to be compared to Beyonce, let’s hope she doesn’t lose sight of who she is and become a household product, but it wouldn’t do her no harm to sex herself up a bit!

There is no comparison…Beyonce is the tripple threat..beauty..dance..and vocal chops..Im a full blooded American and I love music from across the world..I don’t think that Beyonce is to worried about Leona..crazy they tried to compare Leona vocals to Mariah..Mariah smased her down…the girl is attractive..but she got to kick her skirt up for Americans to loose it..LOL

I think the only stupid DUMB here is you my friend. Number one, as far as i know FOOTPRINTS hasnt reached number one yet (hopefully it will). Thats you first wrong fact. Number two, Leona Lewis has been number one in the European chart and number one in many countries in Europe such as Italy, France, Germany. She as well has been N1 in US, Canada, Australia and New Zeland and i think she might be in Asia soon. Leona just came straight and Bang to Number 1 like fire man. To me All her songs are better than Beyonce’s on B’Day but I dont know if America will open up to her like they did to Beyonce. Apparently she’s Ordinary, but not for long eh?

So long as Beyonce can dance and shake her ass, she’ll be fine in the music industry and what not.

Leona doesn’t even need to do that yet. I dont think that she wil ever need to but you never know. she’s the best pop singer today

..I think the industry is big enough for both of these talented ladies, but just because Leona was discovered on a TV talent show doesn’t make her any less remarkable a singer. She can hold her own with the best of them (the album confirms this, not just the single) and the comparisons with Whitney are valid. Beyonce has already made her own very considerable mark on the music industry with a different style.
