The detectives are particularly keen to see Dr David Payne, Jane Tanner and her partner Dr Russell O’Brien. Doctors Gerry and Kate, both 39, are not expected to face more questioning.

“The need to question Madeleine’s parents again will be determined by the results of the interrogations of their holiday friends.”

I read somewhere that the the conditions for abandonment of a child in Portugal include the age of 6.
Anyone know if thats true?
If thats true, they McCanns can be charged with that crime - if they cant prove anything else, that would do!

The PJ is about to quiz witnesses.
They will be interrogated by the British police( at the PJ’s presence.)
They belong to the same culture, they know how to pressure the witnesses in orde to hear the truth.
And they will make it.

She is bound to write a book on child care one day.
How about ‘Caring for a Princess’ as the title?

Ah ! but you see…..his Mum can’t do that because she would get done for p-h-y-s-i-c-a-l a-b-u-s-e and if she shouted at him, she would get done for v-e-r-b-a-l a-b-u-s-e which, in “my day” used to be called a good telling-off !! Lack of a few good clips round a few ears is why the latest generation is beyond the pale and makes me want to go and live on a desert island well away from it.

So it looks like cuddlecat was washed before it could be properly tested doesn’t it. So it is ‘highly suspicious’
The one thing I hang on to as a definite whatever the McCanns do with their legal team (i.e. even if justice fails) is that we will eventually learn if they travelled further afield and left the kids unguarded and unsupervised.
So regardless of what happens, the full extent of any neglect will one day enter the public arena.
One day coolandcalm and others will apologise to children and good parents everywhere.

Just popped back to see if coolandcalm has answered either question. Sadly it seems not.
Reluctance from a pro-mccanner to state if they beleive that the McCanns childcare arrangements are good or bad and a reluctance to state that if cuddlecat was washed before any testing it would be suspicious (accepting hat if it was after testing then it might well be considered not suspicious).
coolandcalm as a representative pro-mccanner fails the even handed test!
