Madeleine McCann: A Tapas Quiz, Doctors And McCanns
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
SUNDAY PEOPLE: “COPS’ 3-DAY TAPAS QUIZ”
Big news for those who thought the cops’ specialist food knowledge was donuts and kebabs. Cops making a last-ditch bid to solve the Maddie McCann mystery will spend only THREE DAYS quizzing the Tapas Seven.
Not the Tapas Nine. Not the Sangria Seven.
The detectives are particularly keen to see Dr David Payne, Jane Tanner and her partner Dr Russell O’Brien. Doctors Gerry and Kate, both 39, are not expected to face more questioning.
Doctors. Such are the facts.
The friends deny that their initial statements contain contradictions. But Portuguese police hope that ironing out apparent inconsistencies will help solve the riddle.
THIS IS LONDON: “‘Tapas Nine’ to face three days of police interviews”
Portuguese police are planning to question the so-called Tapas Nine during three days of interviews in a final attempt to solve the mystery of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance.
The so-called Tapas Seven.
Mr and Mrs McCann, who are both still official suspects, are not expected to be questioned.”
DAILY MIRROR: “Tapas Seven to be questioned again in Madeleine case”
The Tapas Seven, who had dinner with the McCanns on the night their daughter Madeleine, four, vanished, will have more than 100 questions put to them by Portuguese police.
Any other facts?
A source told Portuguese paper 24 Horas, said: “We are at a crucial phase. There are clear contradictions in the statements that the McCanns and their friends gave. Many things have to be clarified.
“The need to question Madeleine’s parents again will be determined by the results of the interrogations of their holiday friends.”
Or not. Such are the facts.

‘you are right I dont like the McTossers and I dont mind admitting it….perhaps you could tell me why you support these lowlife cretins ‘
I take it this is your question. Forgive me, there was an onslaught.
- I didn’t say that I supported them. I take it any challenge to any given ‘anti’ view represents explicit support. But if you know more than me, then please, expand… and perhaps inform the PJ too

How are you ? getting warmer in France ? Had our last swim before October today. Saw you question last night re Aus. Yes we are going, but want the cheque in my hand and the legal matters settled first. Mrs B will go and see how things are getting on in July. We have quite a few members of our family there, all very happy and safe. our biggest problem now is that we have 2 young kittens to consider.”

Dear Bounty. Yesterday and today was fullblown Spring [finally] with a strong wind, yet warm [the wind too]. Am afraid my dogs enjoyed it more than I did. Working weekends since some months because of “difficult & indecisive” clients.
Hope you’ll be able to settle cheque & papers soon. Once you’ve made a decision, better to be able to realise it a.s.a.p.
Cannot you take the kittens with you? Australia has a quarantine period ?

Evening all
For those who havn”t seen it, this was posted this morning and makes quite interesting
reading. Seems some of the big backers who donated money to the fund pulled out
when the McCanns were made arguidos. Also, there is mention of “Phil Hall, ex News of the World and Hello Editor, acting as consultant to McCanns in recent months is thought to be leading Contender”. This refers to who will take over from Justine,
so even in those early months, the McCanns were thinking on their feet and receiving
advice. Is there anyone they DON”T know who can help?

“Now that the investigation is progressing, all of a sudden, I find it difficult to speak of the case. ”
Have I missed something?
At best we will hear on Apr 14 that now that the interviews have been conducted, they must be translated, then evaluated, therefore the secrecy of the inquiry will be extended for three more months.
So relax!
