I was in a private school - got kicked out - went to one of the best state schools in Scotland (and while I was never in any danger of getting my head kicked in) the superficial crap they taught was pretty shocking. I got an A in English and I hadn't even read the book I was answering questions on. :shock: If you want to know anything, you have to learn on your own - and that's the difference between the motivated kids and the kids who are a bit lost. State school education stinks across the board.
