Karen, I think you are a real authentic person, but don’t get wrapped up in these virtual identities. You cannot be sure that Ciara, Gandolf, RR are real. Some are, some are not. There is no accountability. Put a little buffer between yourself and them. You can control whether or not to respond.

I know - but he wasn’t giving up. So, I thought rather than trying to be rational I’ll just do what he does and see if he likes it. I thought maybe he would think it was a bit much to only do the thing, and then we could post on the topic again.

Karen, if you don’t get banned forever, I would ask that you remember that you do not have to respond. It’s really pretty simple. Don’t get caught up in it.

Some folk reading through your earlier posts on this thread might call you a petulant spoilt little child. The insults you have thrown around contributed nothing to the debate about a missing wee girl and are unworthy of someone claiming to be an undergraduate student. Your behaviour earlier was more akin to that one might expect to see in a kindergarten.

I suggest you do exactly what you repeatedly claim you are about to do - take some time out. Cool down. Return to Anorak when you are ready to discuss arguments rather than attack other posters.

SC46 apparently stands for Simon Cowell, 46 (or someone joked that it did).

Also - with the RR thing - I was only mimicking his style - since he wouldn’t accept an apology.
