KATE and Gerry McCann may risk arrest by returning to Portugal for the one-year anniversary of their daughter’s disappearance.
The couple are prepared to take the chance in a last ditch attempt to revive interest in four-year-old Maddie, missing since May 3.

The doctors, both 39, left the Praia da Luz resort last September – 48 hours after being made official suspects over the mystery.

Says the McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “They want to be there for the first anniversary. Going out there would send the strongest possible message that Madeleine could still be alive and the search for her should continue.”

Almost as troublesome was the story’s unforeseen and unintended resemblance to a real-life case of child kidnapping that hit the headlines in the months it was being filmed. That was the disappearance in Portugal last year of British girl Madeleine McCann, who was of a similar age and appearance to the film’s kidnapping victim and had a name eerily similar to the character in the Lehane novel, Amanda McCready.
McCready has disappeared amid the squalor of her south Boston neighbourhood. The police are out in formation, as are the television news vans, antennas raised high, all but trembling for blood.

There was no one around so I decided to prepare dinner earlier because I want to
watch the Football anyway, I have a vested interest.
Going off the subject, I don”t know where you live but the Olympic torch bearing has
turned quite violent. Several people arrested , huge Amnesty International protest
against China over Tibet, I agree with them, but feel sorry for the contestants who have
trained for years and face the prospect of some bad feeling for competing.
Agree, nothing much is going to happen, hope when it does we see Justice for
Madeleine.

In no way is that photo a fake and anything you read about it is wholly untrue. It was taken at 2:29pm last week but I hadn’t changed the clock in my camera after daylight saving time the weekend before so really it was 3:29pm!

And yet, Kate McCann supposedly refused to answer questions herself!!!!!! To me
it makes no sense , you don”t need to co-operate yourself, but can expect the PJ
to co-operate with you.

I was just looking at it actually.Thats correct in regard of their case but they dont have to DEMAND the Guardia Civil (spanish cops) to investigate the SPANISH Mari Luz case.
They have been granted to have witnesses questionned….OMG

The PJ has/is just gathering everything for the judge/court to decide
No one decides who is going to be questioned .This why the mccArguidos demanding the PJ to question other witnesses is just a laugh.
Them again demanding the spanish cops to investigate Mari Luz”s death just in case he also abducted Madeleine

Some British media are telling today that the condition of arguidos (McCanns)will be lift very soon, by the PJ.
It is not the police which lift this kind of condition.
It needs a judge to do it, after a long study.
Even Murat did not get rid of this declaration yet.

OK, so Anna-Raquel isn’t a serious suggestion; I like the names Harriet, Grace, Celia and Georgia best of all and wasn’t allowed to call The Oestrogen Kid any of them. Ruby Rose is lovely though and Alexandra is always a very classy name.

Val… as part of being an arguido they would have been asked who they wanted interviewed. Portugese law… an entitlement.
If you or I were a suspect here we would expect the police to talk with whover could corroborate our version of events wouldn’t we?

Nothing much going on, but Denzylle did you note Kate remarking on the “Abduction”
” I know whoever has her, she will give them tuppenceworth”" What a strange remark
to make!!!!!!!
I posted a snippet this morning from skyNews that it will take several weeks to collate
all the information when the PJ return to Portugal, so presumably the McCanns will
remain arguidos for now.
I”m not at all sure that the McCanns can ask for their “witnesses” to be included,
what a b….y cheek, they havn”t been charged with anything yet!!!! Also, how do they
know the witnesses are not already on the list.? The PJ must have sifted through
hundreds of statements before making their final U.K. list and wouldn”t waste time
on those statements they did not consider important., or conflicting.
