Madeleine McCann: The McCanns’ Return To Portugal, A Year Of Looking And Ben Affleck
MADDYWATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
THE SUN: “McCanns risk arrest over visit”
KATE and Gerry McCann may risk arrest by returning to Portugal for the one-year anniversary of their daughter’s disappearance.
The couple are prepared to take the chance in a last ditch attempt to revive interest in four-year-old Maddie, missing since May 3.
Any facts?
The doctors, both 39, left the Praia da Luz resort last September – 48 hours after being made official suspects over the mystery.
Gerry and Kate McCann are Doctors. Such are the facts.
Says the McCanns’ spokesman Clarence Mitchell said: “They want to be there for the first anniversary. Going out there would send the strongest possible message that Madeleine could still be alive and the search for her should continue.”
SYDNEY MORNING HERALD: “Turning the tabloids”
Ben Affleck is Gone Baby Gone:
Almost as troublesome was the story’s unforeseen and unintended resemblance to a real-life case of child kidnapping that hit the headlines in the months it was being filmed. That was the disappearance in Portugal last year of British girl Madeleine McCann, who was of a similar age and appearance to the film’s kidnapping victim and had a name eerily similar to the character in the Lehane novel, Amanda McCready.
McCready has disappeared amid the squalor of her south Boston neighbourhood. The police are out in formation, as are the television news vans, antennas raised high, all but trembling for blood.
Madeleine McCann: That’s entertainment

Select a bumper sticker style and then choose a template to customise. It gives you a preview after you enter your text.

Before everyone gets too carried away, the swastika was for thousands of years a symbol of good.
Just shows you can be guilty by association.

Foolish to think that anything Clarence says isn’t heavily spinning!
This is to cover being summonsed back of course.
They aren’t being questioned in the UK because the PJ dont need to speak to them until they have straightened out the ‘inconsistencies’ with the T7. The the McCanns will be requested to return under the ’suspect status’ terms, hopefully to be charged. But if not at least we will soon see the exposure of their trip to Chaplins!

I haven’t seen the link to the place you just posted but last year in San Diego, a military building there was the same. Someone noticed it from Google Earth. The military had to spend thousands (probably millions) to alter the building.
I think a building is a lot different to a logo though don’t you? And a shape you can only see from a plane? (or Google Earth!)

Brian Gerrish talks about this exact phenomenon in his presentation about Clandestine Purpose….ooops…I mean Common Purpose.
He demonstrates how the swastika is becoming more prevalent in everyday things like newspapers.
It’s true and unbelievable at the same time.

IF they are innocent of any wrongdoing [I'm not talking about leaving the kids alone] they could be sure that there’s nothing to worry about too.
Yet I’m surprised their lawyers wouldn’t/couldn’t convince them it would be better not to go, just in case…
Unless there’s information [to their lawyers/them] that the arguido status is to be lifted?

Oh dear!
Brown is a plonker. He’s really milking the ‘global warming’ issue, pity its not to the extent that he stops promoting the very countries which can really make a difference!
We ship all our work to India and put our own working classes out of work - and promote their growth and industry (India and China) whilst we produce nothing.
He then bangs on about plastic bags in supermarkets!
Doesnt even notice the logo looks like a swastika!
I wonder why half the cabinet is scotsmen too!

I must admit I was surprised at Karen”s language!!!!!!!!! Red Rooster probably
should have stayed out of it, but his “relationship” with Ciara was in fact one of the
things Karen resented being so public.
I posted to jo and she”s gone!!!!! It was to do with what happens if the McCanns are
to have their status lifted. Do you think they know something we don”t and that is why they are going back to Portugal.. If it IS true that the British Police divulged info in
the rogoratory letters to CM or the Lawyers, maybe they feel confident the McCanns
have nothing to worry about.

Precisely. Watch Brian Gerrish’s film about Common Purpose on Youtube and he touched on this subject a year ago. That symbol is becoming more and more pervasive in everyday things. This is outrageous - a British Government approved logo consisting of a blue swastika and other embellishments for a world summit.

Today, Gordon Brown was hosting the Progressive Governance Summit in London.
They have a government website with details about this here:
http://progov.pm.gov.uk/
Check out the logo on that site in the top right corner of the page. The slogan reads: “Promoting Prosperity” and underneath in smaller letters it says “Progressive Governance Summit”.
Ok, so far so good eh?
Well not quite.
The logo that was on the site before this one got pulled. To see the previous logo, click my name in here (I had to do it like this because I can’t post two links).
Have a look at the old logo and see if it reminds you of anything. In particular, look at the blue part of the logo and then when you notice what it is, remember that the British Prime Minister probably approved this.

Their arguido status is not going to be lifted yet I
Now, trying to think about whatever could happen in september is too far out when we dont even know the outcome of the case over the next few days
They can plan whatever they want, the PJ will have the last word
If I had/was an informer I would not say a word about whatever I could possibly know, Val

400 Agenda Wide says:
“Whatever happens over the next few weeks - ultimately it will be a battle to win hearts and minds of the public in Portugal and UK, not just by Team McCann but by the politicians and media we would like to trust.”
Yep. Interesting though, to ponder that the various instigators of spin over here….may appear to have a unitory aim……..e.g. innocence of two arguidos, when in fact that aspect may be only incidental to their real goal - perhaps to avoid a trial ???
So often people write here as if this is all about the McCs or about child neglect and truly think that this couple is protected from the ordinary course of plain justice due to ‘class and connections’ ! While I do find this amusing, it also makes me despair as it reflects the almost total lack of awareness of the state of play in our affairs of State.
I think I read a post yesterday which was implying that our Government would NEVER interfere with judicial process!
Oh yeah !!!!
