THE SUN: “Cop: McCanns’ spokesman ‘lies’”
Carlos Anjos, president of Portugal’s Police Federation, says of Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ spokesman: “He lies with as many teeth as he has in his mouth.”
The accused the former BBC man of leaking police statements Kate and Gerry made within hours of Maddie disappearing last May. These were aired on Spanish TV last week. Anjos said the aim was to give the McCanns an excuse not to attend a reconstruction.
Says Mr Mitchell: “It is categorically untrue that I leaked them. There was absolutely no benefit for us to do that.”
THE TIMES: Andrew Billen on TV:
“It was going to be called Madeleine McCann, but now ITV1’s exclusive, has a longer name: Madeleine, One Year On: Campaign for Change. The programme will follow her parents as they campaign for an American-style Amber Alert system, in which law enforcement agencies are empowered to commandeer airtime when a child goes missing. Ah, lack of television coverage. That must have been the problem.”

Dee, it was a google search.
The theory is as good as any other, I was just adding a note of scepticism because there have been cases like Rochdale and the Orkney Isle where there has been a big broohaha about Devil Worship and in the end it comes to nothing (except for kids traumatised after being taken away from their parents.)

Yes,its what I think as well but I just cant understand then what is going on in the case the news is confirmed because it means 2 things: either they are charged or their status is lifted.In both instance,then,yes,they will have access to the files.

well, the entire theory was about a child sacrifice, but the childs name would be known by the whole world for 1 year before the sacrifice would take place.
wtf was taking about this case being strange, that everything was on a year contract, a concert being held after one year, and basically 1 year being a bit of a theme, that’s when i remembered the old theory about sacrifice and the childs name being known by the whole world.

Ok; the point is that neither of the McCanns has the sort of expertise that would be needed to run covert trials.
There may well be covert trials going on, but they will involve specialists in the field.
And neither of the McCanns are qualified…

There were some truly lunatic theories being bandied about last year; one included the theory that May 1st was the great pagan festival on which human beings were sacrificed.
Presumably the alleged sacrificers were thought to be so incompetent that they mistook May 3rd for May 1st.
