THE SUN: “Cop: McCanns’ spokesman ‘lies’”
Carlos Anjos, president of Portugal’s Police Federation, says of Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ spokesman: “He lies with as many teeth as he has in his mouth.”
The accused the former BBC man of leaking police statements Kate and Gerry made within hours of Maddie disappearing last May. These were aired on Spanish TV last week. Anjos said the aim was to give the McCanns an excuse not to attend a reconstruction.
Says Mr Mitchell: “It is categorically untrue that I leaked them. There was absolutely no benefit for us to do that.”

“It was going to be called Madeleine McCann, but now ITV1’s exclusive, has a longer name: Madeleine, One Year On: Campaign for Change. The programme will follow her parents as they campaign for an American-style Amber Alert system, in which law enforcement agencies are empowered to commandeer airtime when a child goes missing. Ah, lack of television coverage. That must have been the problem.”

they don’t have a problem using the cash they raise by inventing stuff like this to gain., do they?
god, mystics, all the rest of it is fairy tales from the dark ages.
i can predict with a certain amount of confidence that most people who consult these charlatans are middle aged women, usually divorced\single or the bereaved, who need some hope to cling to.

Sorry Firestar, but i beg to differ. There are a lot of fakes, but there are a few that get results and police departments all over the world have used them to solve cases. These ones aren’t the type that try to claim fame, they do their work in the background.

especially the tv psychics who fleece vulnerable people who need something to believe in.

Since Encarnacao seems so confident I guess I need to start making plans to move back in with my parents, leaving my kids with my husband at home. The reason I need to watch all those wonderful documentations on TV after the mystery is solved and since I do not own one I guess I have to start making plans…
But I guess the good thing is that we all can focus on other issues again
