Carlos Anjos, president of Portugal’s Police Federation, says of Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ spokesman: “He lies with as many teeth as he has in his mouth.”
The accused the former BBC man of leaking police statements Kate and Gerry made within hours of Maddie disappearing last May. These were aired on Spanish TV last week. Anjos said the aim was to give the McCanns an excuse not to attend a reconstruction.
Says Mr Mitchell: “It is categorically untrue that I leaked them. There was absolutely no benefit for us to do that.”

“It was going to be called Madeleine McCann, but now ITV1’s exclusive, has a longer name: Madeleine, One Year On: Campaign for Change. The programme will follow her parents as they campaign for an American-style Amber Alert system, in which law enforcement agencies are empowered to commandeer airtime when a child goes missing. Yes, I agree with eating or drinking something dangerous.. Than it could be irresponsibility of the parents, leaving the children alone.
In this case, death by accident, because the parents were away, would be much less serious on the eyes of the law.
If it happened that way, they could better have told the truth.

There was only one “WITNESS” and even she doesnt know if it was maddie that was beeing carried away,
No signs of a break in at the apartment,So why do we have to conform to the story?,I put this question to all pro mccs………
On the other hand we know mccs left their kids alone,and went out,leaving a lot of other theorys open to discussion…..And also we hear mccs talking crap everyday,they certainly dont look like people upset and Hardly mention the child now days, only interested saving their own skin…….so why should we believe them?…….they leave themselves wide open to critisism…..

Of course….and all of our opinions are equally valid as long as they are
formed from reasoning and appreciations of factors within the case.
We don’t know….only the culprit(s) actually know….
(and now perhaps the Police).
But reasonable speculation is OK in my book….and am sure you would
enjoy the Forum much more if you put your reasoned tuppenceworth
in and not slate everybody who has an alternative view to yours.
