Madeleine McCann: Anjos Calls Mitchell A Liar And Madeleine One Year On: Campaign For Change
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
THE SUN: “Cop: McCanns’ spokesman ‘lies’”
Carlos Anjos, president of Portugal’s Police Federation, says of Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ spokesman: “He lies with as many teeth as he has in his mouth.”
The accused the former BBC man of leaking police statements Kate and Gerry made within hours of Maddie disappearing last May. These were aired on Spanish TV last week. Anjos said the aim was to give the McCanns an excuse not to attend a reconstruction.
Says Mr Mitchell: “It is categorically untrue that I leaked them. There was absolutely no benefit for us to do that.”
THE TIMES: Andrew Billen on TV:
“It was going to be called Madeleine McCann, but now ITV1’s exclusive, has a longer name: Madeleine, One Year On: Campaign for Change. The programme will follow her parents as they campaign for an American-style Amber Alert system, in which law enforcement agencies are empowered to commandeer airtime when a child goes missing. Ah, lack of television coverage. That must have been the problem.”
Indeed.

They are unreal arent they? But if you think about it, they will have completed their grieving and as they are religiously inclined, they will have convinced themselves that the is in heaven now, one day to be reunited with them.
Its shame they only have tickets for the other place though!

I find i dont like to dwell on what could have happened to her and what she went throuhg, its horrible. Unlike the parents who dont seem to be suffering in that direction do they? treated like a princess! their faces should be contorted with grief imagining what she is going through, but imo they know she has been “taken”

I think Ian and Garth are going to be friends for life.

Why should we argue about whether we are pro- or anti-McCann? Surely this whole thing is about wanting justice to be done for a small child who couldn’t defend herself, it does not matter if you think her parents are guilty or not, there is a little girl involved here who needs justice done for her.
Yes, I know which side of the fence I’m sitting, but ultimately my whole objective is Madeleine, and to know that what she went through does not come to a dead-end, and those responsible will ultimately pay for their actions!

Incorrect….on several counts.
It is not my Domain.
And you may be surprised to hear that I, and most others are not
antiMcCann…we certainly anti McCann Circus…but a better
description would be…we are very ProJusticeFor Madeleine.
So…please take your superscillious sneers and contemplate
upon being a less judgemental person.

924 Gary!
Hi!
Hey, what about this theory that it was Shaun and Amelie who were crying and calling not ‘Daddy’ but ‘Maddie’?!
What about the news that Carlos Nachos (who released the ‘leak’ to the TV) is a long time communicator with Clarence and the McCanns and he chose when to contact the TV station! Carefully released after the McCanns had left Brussels!
All falling in to place now isn’t it!

Nostradamus 910
I don’t place myslf in an anti MC camp, as I just hold for the truth, like you say you do, and I don’t bear any bad feelings towards the McCs. As I already said, as long as the truth is eventually known, I’ll be satisfied, and if they are involved, you will not certainly not find me screaming for them to be punished.
Yet, I don’t place myself in a pro MC camp, certainly not.
Being “pro” or “against” isn’t the issue at all, as far as I am concerned. It is a dead end. I want to know what happened. I don’t want to have to believe what the press have been telling day after day, that the PJ aren’t to be taken seriously, and that we have to believe the MCs and their PR against the police. I want a real investigaation to be carried without interferences, and if necessary, I want a fair trial to decide of the guillt or innocence of the defendants.
Nostradamus, if you say this is being anti MC, it means that, deep inside, you think they are guilty. Otherwise, the outcome of the investigation wouldn’t worry you.

Theres no such thing as the perfect crime, and i agree not all of them are involved. thats why i cant get my head around the fact that gerry denied seeing tanner, if she was with them on it, doesnt make sense does it?
#

What doesnt make sense is thinking that they are in on it………..
Anyway, whats this rubbish about Tanner retracting her claim about seeing the abductor? Pmsl.

Camps? You meant here is a camp that supports people who use their superior strength to bully and neglect children?
Are you proud to be in that camp?

Sorry, there are of course ‘bobs’ - its mobs that exist only in the mind o ‘Nostradamus’ who seeks to divert attention from the real issue, parents who ultimately failed in their duty of care to Madeleine. [edited - dr]
