“A family pal said “through the door” donations totalled £6,000. Up to £3,000 also flooded into the Shannon Matthews Fund.

Roger O’Doherty, neighbourhood manager of local community group Dewsbury West Pathfinder, says the family had not received “as much as a ha’penny’’ from the official fund he had set up. Says he: “I can’t say precisely how much is in the fund but I think it is around £2,000. We were in the process of applying for charitable status which would have meant it would have been administered by trustees. I wasn’t one of them.

“As far as I am concerned now all the money will go towards helping the children and families living nearby, which was one of the original aims.”

Well….funnily enough, if you click on “Madeleine McCann” in the headings, this one is now first on the threads !! So one assumes there is a tenuous connection or two….missing child/ren missing donations, misused funds, lying parents etc blah…..

Has anyone seen the Standard front page? Kate McCann seems to blame Mark Warner for not offering a baby listening service as the reason she disappeared.
MW doesn’t offer a baby listening service because the resort is too spread out but they offer a nanny one instead where the carer actually sits in the apartment while the parents go out - the same service Kate and Gerry TURNED DOWN!!
A spokesman for MW said the couple were aware of what services were on offer when they booked their holiday with them - for the forth year running!!
Funnily enough, CM hasn’t said a peep!!

About the “disappearence” from the money now.
I mean, the day in septembre, if their made arguidos, the fund was 1,2 million pounds.
According to gerry’s blog, they can not take money from the fund,because they were arguidos. According to Mitchell, who was said in April this year, after the payment from the papers, now the fund is about 900.000 pounds.
Where in the hell is the rest ?(ca 800.000 pounds)
