Sky Watch: Ian Wright On The ‘Sinister’ BBC’s Licence Fee
SKY WATCH- Anorak’s occasional look at plugs in Rupert Murdoch’s newspapers for Rupert Murdoch’s Sky TV.
Ian Wright, former BBC football pundit and Sun columnists, is talking about the BBC:
“They put out these sinister adverts about what will happen if you don’t pay the licence fee, then serve up a load of rubbish… If reality dancing shows aren’t your thing then tough luck.
“It’s all right for me because I can pay the licence fee and still afford to pay for Sky”
Should the licence fee be abolished? Rupert..?

Agree delboy.
Where are the Bloody Monopolies commission when you need ‘em?
I do actually like the beeb compared to some of the other puerile shite about (any channel that churns out shit like Big Brother etc. needs a good dose of napalm up the arris), but I hate the way they’re funded.
My son is at university and staying in halls of res. No-one in their flat has a telly or receives live transmissions, but they are all continually hounded and threatened by the licensing authority. They’re laid back enough to laugh it off, and ignore it, but some people may not be.
Guilty until proven otherwise.

The license should be scrapped,or we should be given a choice as to whether we want to access the beeb……….
Bit of a closed shop, you have to pay for it whether or not,and thats unfair,What happened to privatisation thought it was good for us,When a company has a bottomless money pit then the money gets squandered on crap,(the railways were the same in the seventies)and that is what the beeb does now, privatise it…….then they will start to come up with decent material…or go under….
I seldom watch BBC but have to have a tv licence to access other channels,How unfair is that…WHERES FREEDOM OF CHOICE,we keep being told about?…

I think no otherwise we would end up going m-addaddaddadd and lose BBC to Beebburp Murdock, but I am open to discussion.
