YOU can always trust a man who tucks his vest into his Y-fronts, which is why the new James Bond troubles us.
The Mail produces a picture of pouting Bond actor Daniel Craig in his now well-used light blue swimmers.
To his side is an image of Craig’s Bond predecessor Sean Connery dressed in manly white Y-fronts.
The Mail says the actor is on the set of From Russia With Love and “thought to be preparing for a bedroom scene.”
Hence the Y-fronts. And a vest of dark hair…

I think that shot comes from the odd and forgetable film called ‘Zardoz’, or something like that. Connery plays a post apocolyptic warrior who runs abound raping, pillaging, and generally having a fine old time. I saw it on TV once and fell asleep in the middle.
I wonder how it ends?

I may be wrong but I think that the pistol he is holding is a Webley-Fosbury, semi automatic revolver. One of the only successful semi-automatic revolvers to be produced. It did have one fatal drawback and that was its tendency to jam if not kept scrupulously clean. Not a weapon for the beach I fear
