And there were plenty of lingering tree shots - leafless, winter trees (this is a sad story, after all). And a flying heron … eh, what’s that about? Maybe the heron is an aguido, too. Pensioner Pamela Fenn, who lives above the McCanns’ holiday apartment, said: “It’s sick.

It’s not as if the disappearance of a missing child is entertaining.
The floodlights at Premiership club Everton will be switched on this Saturday to mark the anniversary in a campaign called Light The Way Home.

At one point Gerry McCann admits that his “wife is carrying on in a quasi-real existence”. What she is really doing is falling apart, but too much gloop from the director turned the McCanns’ terrible situation into a guilt trip that made me want to watch The Apprentice instead.

They still get a lot of letters, the McCanns, sorting them out into boxes marked “well-wishers”, “ideas”, “psychics” and “nutty”. Incredibly, they also need a box marked “nasty” for messages such as the one that Gerry read out at the beginning of the film. “How can you use money given by poor people in good faith to pay your mortgage on your mansion? You fucking thieving bastards. Your brat is dead because of your drunken arrogance. Shame on you. I curse you and your family to suffer forever. Cursed Christmas. Kate would create more of a scene for herself and Gerry if they suddenly came out with the truth. Imagine the furore. Why not light a candle or light for all the missing children. Just think of what riveting television it would be if K suddenly while sitting on the sofa, says what really happened. What a scene. In the meantime a child has gone. It does look like she has not turned up on any bad sites or we would have heard, so there are only two conclusions, she has died, or she has found a new home. IMHO.

Good Morning Everyone
Went out last night , recorded the Docu, when I played it this am, found I had
recorded the Snooker on BBC2.!!!!! Judging by the reaction here, I didn”t miss much.
Saw a bit of the Breakfast TV interview, it was noticeable how they squirmed when
asked if they would be going back to Portugal “it”s under discussion”……..no useful
purpose would be served”. Kate is much more confident now, tomorrow they are on
BBC1 Missing, comes on about 9.15am Don”t they remember ? Madeleine went missing in PORTUGAL!!!!!! and what”s with the 0845 No. Iv”e just e-mailed a
question for them on Sky TV, starts 12 noon. I was careful not to be too accusatory,
but at the same time not letting them off the hook for leaving
the children alone. Also asked why they were reluctant to take part in the reconstruction because it might help by jogging someone”s memory. Also it would
speed up the end of the investigation which would mean their arguido status could be
lifted sooner. See If they ask the question. there”s an e-mail just arrived, will go and
look, it might be from Sky HaHA.

I hope Gaunty reviews his present stance of agreeing that there was an
“abduction”….and look at the lack of evidence to support that allegation,
which comes from originally one source….The Mccann’s…and which is
viewed with some….er…. lack of belief by the Investigating Officers.

I confess. I did watch it.
Whether they know what happened or not, they are STILL making verbal mistakes. Call them Freudian slips, mistakes, Clintonite ‘Mis-speaking’, or what you will, they are still doing it.
GM, (about 29 minutes in, just before the first break) “If we were there it possibly, probably, wouldn’t have happened.”
What on earth is he talking about ? Forget the dreadful grammar. What is the message he is trying to put over ? Nothing about “If I had been there I would have pulled the head off anyone who so much as laid their eyes on my daughter’.
No. It is still this repeated mantra they are both using,
KM (37 min) words to the effect “when I discovered Madeleine had been taken, I went flying out of the door to the Tapas restaurant, shouting “someone’s taken Madeleine”
But a few minutes later KM was saying that at 6am they started searching through the undergrowth and the bushes. Why ?

Just before the second break
GM and KM showing the pyjamas describe them as WHITE pyjamas, with a picture of Eeyore on the right leg. No fringe, no pinkish aspect. (Why did Tanner get this so wrong? )
At 100 days they talk about having a double buggy for the twins.
KM states that she knew BEFORE the interview that she was to be made ‘arguida’, and that she needed a solicitor. (As did their then spokeswoman.) So all the stories about the shock, horror and surprise are pure spin.
The Washington story, Elizabeth Smart kidnapping, whilst interesting, is totally irrelevant to the Madeleine situation. As was the PACT sequence, which deals only with children ‘abducted’ by the other partner, and MISSING, which incidentally has a FreePhone number, not a premium line in Spain.
But more important is the question of why all that was filmed, and by whom. And for what purpose. Did the McCs Know that there would be a first anniversary documentary ? Did they in fact plan it ? If the answer to that is Yes, then they also knew that Madeleine would not be found before.
And if so, why did Clarrie, on their behalf, deny that they were taking part in the making of a film.
A little later (about 90 min) GM starts talking about Madeleine’s possible death, only to have KM cut in on him, and change the subject.
And then who filmed the USA Amber alert sequences ? And Why ? See above.
And just before the end GM is categorical in his assertion that “A man was seen walking away with Madeleine”.
How tragic that the one thing on which they are relying, is totally unreliable.
