The biggest problem is that because they left the kids alone, it makes them responsible for whatever happened to Maddie, even if they didn’t harm her themselves. This is what makes many posters here so angry and unable to see past that fact. I watched a YouTube video compilation of snap shots where both only parents show sadness and grief. When I watched that, it is difficult to believe that they are acting and I felt their pain. BUT on the other hand, there are video compilations of snapshots of the parents happy and laughing, shortly after the disappearance and later as the months progressed. Which one is the truth????

If you are you are the only one on this planet who is (apart from the suposed abductor of course) Even the McCanns dont know according to their account of the events - not exactly - they could have had 18 hours to “practice” their story

The Mcc in Spanish ANTENA 3 TV
I don’t know if you know that lasnight, Antena 3 broadcasted a long program (more than 2 hours) about Madeleine McCann, the other missing children in Spain and the need of standard protocols, like Amber Alert (three topics in one!)
It’s really a pitty that all media try to do their job, that is, atract audience, and we try to do ours: to follow morbo stories massively, like drug-adicts. We cannot blame on the Mcc.
They don’t deserve even a single minute of attention, and should be banned from all media. However, they were treated as modern heroes, as superstars, with polite and elegant words of respect and recognition,with reverence. Journalists insult daily to our President, or mock our Royals (¡and yours, always merciless), laugh at whoever BUT, when talking about the Mcc, they adopt a reverent a respectfull tone, they behave educated and thoughtfull, and, as maximum, they say that “they make a mistake” (neglect).
THEY WERE LUMPED TOGETHER with Mary Luz parents’, Yeremi’s parents, and some other parents present in the studio…. but none of these parents have been named LEGALLY ARGUIDO. That nomination is a legal act, from the Policia Judiciaria, the legal representatives of law and order in a sobereign country, member of the EU. For the God sake, WHY EVERYBODY FORGET THAT????

I’d like to know how much time was needed to ‘practice’ the abduction?
Was it the 40 mins or so after kate found her missing and reported it to the police? And as for actors, surely they must be pretty good because they’ve obviously fooled the PJ for almost 12 months it would appear. And of course the vast majority of the population. So i guess their acting skills is pretty hot dont you think?
Of course, unless they arent acting their account is more likely what happened. Have you thought about that one?

GARTH,how do you read this? what do you think and how this austrian horror story has any possible relationship with Madeleine”s story?
The only thing I see,the case have in common, is that it suited/suits, both, the austrian monster and the mccanns to make people believe his/their daughter disappear.

The McCanns are not as intelligent as they would have you believe. To be a good liar you have to have a good memory. The abduction story was concocted - they have no more proof of abduction than of any other theory - they have admitted countless times that the “dont know where Madeleine is” but because they came out on day one with this storming statement of abduction - they do not have the intelligence to allow themselves to be shifted slightly from this theory. This is because they have practiced the story of the abduction, and any shift in the account of what happened would mean that they had to recal “what they initially said” not the truth. Anyone in their right mind would be absolutely open to any theory which would or could or might find their missing daughter. The McCanns have adamently stuck to their first statement. In my opinion it is because everything else they have said has a link and if a link is broken, the whole chain falls apart. They know what happened - but to divert even slightly from their first pulic account of the situation would lead to other questions being asked - ones that they had not practiced. In my opinion, of course,.
