The PJ is extremely aware of what is happening.This is out of vengence they”ve shut clarrie up.The PJ has never spinned news,newver made statements which could endander the investigation.
(Only 2 investigators are working on the case or having access to the evidence,old and new because there are new evidences.(They would know for example what has been leaked if ever).The whole PJ team has done its job.They will NOT react to this, again other provocation,right now.
Right now,they are focusing and very focused on a possible a reconstruction which is the only REAL chance for the mccanns to then,yes,make a deal with the PJ.Otherwise,they will stay arguidos,for a much longer while.They will break first,not the PJ,despite the mediatic circus and everything else we , they(surely)/we(to an extend) know.
The case is not shelved and wont be for a little longer….unless the PJ decides to slam the foot down on the breaks and show their teeth de “portuga”.
If you knew how sweet the portuguese are,how much they love children and over all,how proud people they are…..when the insult is too much to take in,the people will take the lead

exactly. then the tabloids could have a field day, then maybe all the kiss and tell would come out of the woodwork. What chat show would want them then? I personally feel that there is enough dna evidence to convince the pj they are barking up the right tree, but not enough to stand up in court. If the prosecutor thought it was a waste of time he wouldnt have given permission for the reinterviews.

Everytime I see Kate speaking on T.V. I wonder whether she is advertising super glue rather than toothpaste. Now she’s into dungeons and cellars as a ray of hope. It gets evermore laughable with this odious woman.
Mind you, cellars and dungeons might be a clue to Clarry’s sudden disappearance!!!!

Exactly, if the Prosecutor knows the existing evidence is not sufficient to go to trial, they could charge the McCanns with negligence. It would probably mean getting an
Extradition Order and another lengthy process. Bearing in mind the McCanns have the
twins, it could even result in a suspended sentence or something similar. That”s why
shelving the case would be more effective, the public would know the evidence and the
McCanns would quietly disappear from Public life and still have the stigma hanging
over them.

Val, I think the message in that card was intended to elicit sympathy from the viewers.
However, I doubt that anybody who disliked the McCs so intensely because of their selfish behavour, resulting in the disappearance of their daughter, would then refer to the missing child as “a brat”.
IMO they had ever right to resent the mortgage payments coming out of the Fund, and I think the McCs imagined they had dealt with this sensitive matter by making just one reference to a “hurtful” card!

No I havn”t read the article, the one I posted earlier from the Telegraph Reporter
commented on the McCanns out ranking most celebrities in getting Media attention.
This is because they were able to have a PR advisor like CM to help them search for
Madeleine. Thing is it has gone too far and the PJ will be livid that they have intimated
nothing much has been done by the Portugese Police to find Madeleine. That”s why I
don”t think they will spend any more time and money on the case, open the files to show how their suspicions were alerted etc and shelve the case with the McCanns still
remaining arguidos. What do you reckon?

“If Mr Mitchell is aware of UK’s “Child Rescue Alert” and also the above Amber Alert Systems already in place in other countries yet failed to mention the significance, then are there other countries who also have the equivalent to the Amber Alert in place that he has, perhaps, also failed to mention? If so, why? And why are the McCanns running over old ground when the system is already taking hold?
Interestingly, it hasn’t been widely publicised that: “The Portuguese government, aware of the controversy surrounding the McCann case, promoted the French alert system to EU justice ministers at talks last September.”
