I am only speculating, don”t forget the British Police have been involved for a long
time and would want to see closure. the McCanns “considering a reconstruction but
saying publicly they do not see what can be achieved ” is just an excuse, obviously.
They are saying that all the holidaymakers were British and that is why the TV appeal
is better held here. I think they are obviously being guided by their Lawyers but if
push comes to shove they might have to go to Portugal to avoid even more suspicion.
Of course the recon will be to show the discrepancies in the timelines and the reason
they think Madeleine wasn”t abducted. We shall see.
