Hi Chenier,
25p ? That goes a long way in the UK. Well, you can buy a couple of (10p)postcards in Oxford street, a small candy bar in the local shop, a chewing gum, and, for those who save a bit extra a bag of chips in the local fish and chip shop.

Many years ago I was in a hairdressing shop in London and while waiting for my haircut I picked up a magazine to read. Among the zodiac signs it said be on number 7 because it would be lucky.
I popped next door to a betting shop and looked at the next race.Number 7 was a horse called Macao Palace and its form was not impressive……..six coconuts. Just for fun I put money on it and………………….it won the race at 25/1 !

Damn it, John Blake, you could have emailed me! Do you have any idea what it will do to the odds now everybody knows who the winner is?

And I shall have to share the lottery jackpot with around 10,000,000 other people, so next Saturday night I shall be making merry with my 25p.
