Madeleine McCann Reconstruction To Go Ahead, Maybe
PORTUGUESE police want to reconstruct the night Madeleine McCann vanished.
Says the McCanns’ lawyer at a police conference in Faro in the Algarve: “We have little faith in the benefit of this step and how it can help to discover what happened to Madeleine. But there are strong indications it will go ahead.”
Clarence Mitchell, the McCann’s spokesman, said nothing had been decided.
“The discussions about the possible visit by all nine are still ongoing,” he said. “It is down to the friends - as well as Kate and Gerry - to decide whether they want to go back.
“Of course, Kate and Gerry would do anything they could if they thought it would help find their daughter.
“There are some serious questions surrounding the value of the proposed exercise and only when satisfactory answers have come in and all the friends are happy will it happen.”

In August we will get to know who is this somebody who could not go to Algarve now.
It must be somebody very close to the crime, very important for the investigations.
Not somebody who did not see Maddie the last hours.
Could it be one of the Mccanns?

According to Correio da Manhã today somebody of the tapas 9 could not go to Portugal for the reconstruction today and tomorrow.
The reconstruction will be on the last week of May.
They are all trying to escape, aren’t they?
This is a confession itself.
The day this group will fall apart, we will know the truth.

You have all the rights to try to convince yourself but you dont sound very convinced and you have not succeded ever in convincing others.It has nothing to do with the tourist trade:justice is justice.
In any case,even if it was for such an absurd “reason”,it is all in portugal”s interest to establish the truth and prove portugal is a safe place for tourism.
Safe as long as people do NOT expose themselves to harm etc….like anywhere else.

It is obvious they have accumulated evidence which is not heard of for obvious reasons.Yes,the biggest evidence would be the body but NOT necessarily.Joana Cipriano”s mother has been charged for murder even though,the PJ didnt find the poor child”s body.They did find OTHER sinister evidence……

And the sad thing about that case is the so-called sinister evidence is not in the public domain( unless you could enlighten me on that one as well). The tourist trade needs protecting but unfortunately in this case the PJ bit off more than they could chew.

Si, Claro. The request to participate in the re-enactment was in the rogatory letter. If they refuse to return they’ll face an EAW.

What have Metodo3 done over the last few months - and we know they cost thousands? Have they found Madeleine? Have they proved that someone else ‘did it’? No it is all circumstantial and claim and counter claim - precisely the criticism you have of the PJ.

The PJ’s response was that they intend to sue Mr Mitchell for 2 million Euros.
