Madeleine McCann: My Brilliant Career
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
THE GUARDIAN: “Heard the same song three times today? Blame the craze for ‘testing’ tunes”
Martin Kelner is writing on his career in radio:
“The problem is that during the day most of my local radio stations are aiming at a broadly similar audience, roughly women of a certain age, from around 30 to a shade over 55. Those who claim to be in the know say this is the constituency that will help you to a good score in the quarterly Rajar figures.
The slavish adherence to this perceived wisdom was made clear to me at the BBC local station that sacked me just over a year ago (on the same day Madeleine McCann went missing actually, which is probably why you never saw much about it in the newspapers) for not being “female friendly” enough.
Irony? Given the Madeleine McCann is now a linked to the f9 button on a journalist’s keyboard, it’s hard to tell…

159…brandon flours
Tried the 2nd and 3rd and 4th pages ?
There is a site which can be hired by persons embarrassed about what might
show up under Google etc…regarding them…and the programme pushes any
dodgy stuff back two or three search pages automatically.
Apparently, the logic of it is that most “searchers” give up after page 1 and
2.

If I did say that it was obviously an error because O”Brien is the one whose child was
supposedly sick and he reportedly asked for a clean sheet which OC denied……sorry.

Do the odious pair have to make a bloody song and dance about everything. whenever they have the chance to show the world that they are innocent they blow it every time!! Lie detector test, returning to portugal, surely with such expensive lawyers on their side they should have nothing to fear

Thank-you for your help BF.
Now it seems to be alleged that it was JT, not ROB, and not DP, who was on the verge of a nervous breakdown!!!!
Except that The Sun page claiming that has been withdrawn.
Please everybody, no more claims that anyone is having a nervous breakdown!

Hi WTF
May 19th, 2008 at 4:24 pm
afternoon all
May 19th, 2008 at 4:23 pm
It was in the sun online one saturday afternoon…heres all thats left…….Tanner looked like she was going to have one
————————————————————-
I’ve just read in The Sun, which has it from the Portuguese tabloid 24 Horas, that Jane Tanner has withdrawn her statement -it would be very interesting if that turns out to be so, but so far the story seems only to be appearing in a couple of tabloids. They all were reporting, at the time she was reinterviewed, that Jane Tanner had gone into the interviews with a smile and left on the verge of a seeming nervous breakdown. Clarence Mitchell claimed yesterday that none of the Tapas witnesses had changed their statements. If this [edit:tabloid claim] is true, the abduction story has now surely to fall apart.

If your ’source’ is only forum rumour then you must be careful to state that it is not a fact, but gossip that you perhaps think has some interest, if true.
I note that in an earlier posting - May 11th, you were saying that you had heard that David Payne had had a breakdown?
Now it is Russell O’Brian.
Please be careful when making comments as statements.

I read it on SkyMessageboards just before the Tapas 7 were due to be interviewed
by Leicester Police. It was posted by “someone in the know”, not the Press. Didn”t
know about a Negligence claim, so maybe it is the same person!!

I hope somebody will post those links
And thank you for adding the links.I just had a sudden hesitation: do I have hallucinations or wot????

When they were at the OC, meals were included, but not sure about the villa. I would
imagine they would feed the twins at the villa so have supplies of food . What makes
us so mad is that they think we are stupid !!!!!!!

somebody published here that O’Brian had a breakdown.
Where did you read this?

No,they surely dont.
The only who “do deals” are special teams of international spy etc….generally because lifes are involved. They have to deal with armement, vast amount of cash, immunity, witness and agents protection et all
Not the PJ.This is a “simple” criminal investigation

When JT and O”Brien were interviewed by the Police in the U.K. they were at the Station

Dunno about the “breakdown”.
But the neg claim is re he.

Where are all these claims that O’Brian has had a breakdown coming from? Can anybody give me a source?
Also is this the same Tapas member who allegedly had a negligence claim pending against him?
May 19th, 2008 at 3:59 pm
“Mr Sousa confirmed that one of the dogs had found a scent indicating that a corpse had been in the apartment.”
……
“Mr Sousa said this week that the McCanns are regarded as witnesses and are not considered suspects. But he refused to rule out the possibility that their friends may have been involved.
Portuguese police are believed to have found some new evidence ………
Food for thoughts : the second set of DNA results have not been edited…..Has anyone heard anything about it? No

is the text of Nostradamus’ (126) well written?

Thanks for the info, that”s a relief!!!!!!! Seems like CM will try to persuade one of
the Tapas 7 not to go, the Paynes seem to be innocent, the Oldfields and JT and
O”Brien suspect, but I think they will try to save their own skins rather than help the
McCanns.

I don’t think that the PJ “do” deals.
But unless that pair do what is needed to “clear” themselves…then they
may well be involved deeper than they care to admit.

102 Val,
O’Brian has a breakdown?
If it is true, he knows probably more than it seems.
That’s why Jane ’saw “the abductor.
