Madeleine McCann: Josef Fritzl, Ben Affleck And TV Child Abuse
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY MAIL: “Ben Affleck has something to shout about -
Romancer of J-Lo, husband of Jennifer Garner, beefcake specialist of Hollywood blockbusters… and director of sensitively handled film echoing the Madeleine McCann case. Ben Affleck is all these…
And maybe not even in that order. As Affleck said in Pearl Harbor: “Not anxious to die sir, just anxious to matter.”
Ben Affleck’s first film as a director, Gone Baby Gone, a harrowing tale of child abduction, received rave reviews when it came out in the US last year, but its release in Britain was postponed because of chilling parallels with the Madeleine McCann story – and the young lead actress’s strong resemblance to the missing British girl. Now, more than a year since Madeleine’s disappearance, the film is finally about to be released here.
And Affleck has views, too. Having had his film – a work of fiction - compared with the disappearance of a real child, Affleck enjoins the Mail in a game of Tabloid Bingo.
Affleck: Emotionally, I think the Austrian sex offender Josef Fritzl should be killed.
Affleck: What has happened to Madeleine McCann is terrible and it was the right decision to wait until now before bringing out the film, as we didn’t want to upset the family.
Affleck: “I worked with the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children [which is involved in the search for Madeleine McCann] and I found out about the extent of child abuse internationally. It is horrifying.
Affleck: “Sometimes, abuse is as simple as leaving your kids in front of the TV all day and thinking that it is sufficient parenting.”
Ben Affleck is an actor…

Its a fix, voting was rigged IMO, alledgely etc.
boo hiss.
I think Kate’s delicate and fragile state couldn’t cope with having to watch the faceless eggman Harrison lookalike. She wants us all to pray like mad for her,,,, join me in a prayer…
Dear Kate,, and Gerry,
Who art in Rothley,
Holy Ones are their names,
Give them this day a Hefty Fund,
Forgive them for not searching,
And deliver them, not to PdL,
For ever and ever…..

I can’t accept the glory of first place - I only said bum a few times and then nicked Saul’s Ying-Tong Song, so it’s back for a recount ..

Very difficult to share my points between Duncan, Peter Mac and Gloria Smudd for next year’s Eurovision contest. I like Tum Tum and Poop Poop, very much, but Gloria’s lyrics are much longer, and a little bit more varied, so, she’ ll get half the points, and Duncan and Peter Mac share the rest.
And the winner is : Gloria Smudd!

It’s a fix!
I have been practising my backing singers boogie and have not yet even attempted the lyrics!
There is rich mine of possibilities on the Masturbation Month thread which could be converted to song with very little effort.
We could spray the audience with the new wonderdrug and they’ll be so busy tongue flicking and eyebrow raising they won’t even notice other entries…

Am afraid not.
Only the very very basic and common phrases.
The translator of the piece left in the French term…but noted that
it meant “fit”.

Also worthy of noting from that article from “Les Enfants” is…
“”As for the fact of knowing why other guests and employees of the complex
were not invited to the recovery, Mr. Mitchell should review their copy!
He knows, like parents, friends, PJ, the press so that several reconstructions
have been held with all the guests and employees this holiday complex on 2
and 3 May last year! Each versions s’emboîtant perfectly in each other!”"
Translator’s note….s’emboîtant = fit. (Perhaps M N could confirm this)

Reconstruction….will put themselves in a situation of being very
suspicious person(s) and worthy of very intensive scrutiny by the

jass - I agree with you to a certain extent - but why the hell does Pat’s mate want to stay here then? such a bloody awful place, with such a bloody awful government and such a twat of a prime minister - why do the bloody asylum seekers, illegal immigrants and the like want to be here - if it is such a bloody awful place. ££££££££££££££ in hand outs - thats why. there cannot possibly be any other reason - can there?
…………………..
I was not going to come on here again and will not.
But…
why would any one come here for £££’s? Money is relative to any country and where my friend is from- they do not pay rediculous prices for utilities and tax on everything that take away every ones pounds like they do in this country. Also where my friend is from he worked hard and does not want a handout, he has skills and is willing to work ,people who claim they want hand outs are usually the ones who want it therm self.
He came here for his safety and hoped to receive humane treatment from what he presumed was the civilised west. No one comes here excited about the prospect of a few pence to scrape by on every week- this is one excuse the govt spin not to show compassion andlisten to individuals experiences.
It is expensive and dangerous to get to a place of asylum, they use large amounts of money, that they already owned before they come here, to risk their life and leave their family and loved ones to travel over land through many dangerous territories- to eventually go in a lorry at the mercy of whomsoever to hopefully land some where in order to secure their safety.
Would any human being do this unless they had little choice. To prefer a very unsafe chance of survival in order to flee a worse one to stay where they are.

The last paragraph is very good because it points out that the PJ has NEVER excluded the abduction theory and this why they want re enactment ….even though ,well,ok ok ok,I”ll shut up……..
(M&A made me arguida
“Regardless of anything, it is of little impotance us to know whether or not the parents are guilty. Whether or not they will be charged. The only thing that matters is what happened to Madeleine. This is the only important question – more so than the possible guilt or otherwise of the parents. But we have to be honest here, since their departure from Portugal, when according to some they abandoned Maddie for a second time, the parents and their friends appear to react as if it all too late for Madeleine and that the only thing that matters to them now is to keep themselves and the twins safe and out of sight. Don’t forget that the PJ had already declared that in their search for an abductor they had no intention of harassing the parents for neglect. The abduction was the prime focus.
In conclusion: We think that Mr Clarence Mitchell needs to take a holiday, for he is coming out with inept statements as big as himself!”

Coups de gueule de l’association face à autant d’absurdités!
The french association ” Les Enfants Kidnappés” is ANGRY.
This is what the tiltle says
The article will also answer questions about reconstruction et all but people are starting to be really fed up with them
This is an interesting site but all in french,so….any translators around?
“It is the disappearance of a child and not a marketing product! As a professional police world, knowing perfectly techniques, knowing perfectly the profile of predators, kidnappers etc, we are shocked by Mr. Clarence Mitchell”s words! There is no reconstitution of a criminal investigation underway by a television channel! No actors in the world will never replace the real protagonists in a reconstruction!
Mr Mitchell should learn to differentiate between a human being, a girl of 4 years and a marketing product to distribute in a broadcast style Crimwatch or otherwise, to raise any broadcasting rights!! They do not realize a “parody” of the facts! We want to seriously know what really happened during the day on May 02, and in the May 03!”
May 25th, 2008 at 8:53 am
Clarrie quote on the reconstruction
“Kate’s “mental well-being” is another factor that causes concern, according to Mitchell.
“Is it supposed that she sees a child to be kidnapped in front of her? What type of anguish is going to cause her? It seems to nobody to have thought about that “, he stressed”
So can we take it that Maddie was abducted in front of kate? Why didnt she say earlier, would have saved a lot of bother.

” As I recall, for Photo 1 Stevo tried and tried to identify “playground man” and the girl in the foreground, with no luck. It is not thought that the girl is a T7 daughter. The best guess for “playground man” is he is a janitor or similar. As I understand it, the man on the beach photo is Michael Wright, from Skipton, husband of Kate’s cousin or somesuch. I don’t think Michael Wright is “playground man.” ”
Did you notice the video of “playground man”?
