Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you will know that children go missing.
Although not if you’re watching the TV news of reading the newspapers because Madeleine McCann is no longer in the mass media.
But the campaign has not been in vain. She is on a press release.
And the better news is that no children have gone missing in the past few weeks. We look through the mainstream press every day. It’s a fact. But what of life on the internet?
The statement goes on: “Using the power of social media in this way will undoubtedly capture the attention - and hopefully the help - of a younger population who are a hugely valuable and resourceful group.
“We would urge the millions of Facebook users around the world to keep looking and to do what they can to help bring these children home.”
Missing People has set up a widget for Facebook users to download, which will mean information on current appeals will be displayed on their homepage.
Says missing People Chief Executive Paul Tuohy: “If every Facebook user downloaded our BT-powered application, millions of people internationally could see an appeal that could help us to reunite a family.”
Because BT cares…

I never believed that they landed on the moon and I still dont. but Mars? what do they think we are - idiots ? 40 years on and they still think we are morons!!! For a kick off - who the bloody hell wants to know what is on Mars - it would take nearly a year to get there and NOBODY gets that sort of annual leave- do they? but the moon saga - well that just beggars belief - I had to change twice for plane to refuel to get to Australia in 1969 - and they say they got to the MOON - bullshit

That comforts me; I can reflect that I can’t be out with the in-crowd, since you are out with me.
That sentence sounded as if it made sense in my head, but on screen it looks a bit delphic.
Perhaps it would be better if I just stuck to compiling our entry to the Eurovision contest, so smuddy will not be too displeased when we return from our mercy mission to the European Wine Lake.

To be honest [I don't dare to use the word fair, because then they'll go after Fair], I use smileys too. And I also like quite a lot of posters, with whom I don’t agree. But liking people as posters, to me that’s not the same as wanting to mail or talk to them in real life. That would be very few posters [I think you know/can guess which ones].
So now they’re after Pikey? A pity they can’t accept some people just don’t agree with their opinion. Says it all about them.

I wonder whether the combination of Teflon Tony desperately needing a story to displace the Browne scandal, and therefore providing spin doctors galore to achieve this, and the McCanns initial NuLabour tactics of claiming anything that might conceivably get you off the hook, simply spiralled far beyond anyone’s control.

I think more and more of Tapas 7.
Now a realise very well that they are victims and not friends of the McCanns.
It may not be easy for them to get rid of their bad names, imo.
Helping the McCanns is not seeing as a heroic condecoration.

Is not Maria nearly the only pro-mc. here who never insulted any of the posters, never used rude words and never chased anti-s for the pleasure of annoying people?
If Maria has an agenda here, then at least she does her job in a respectful way… But should not we bear in mind the possibility that Maria just could not believe what happened and tried to defend what she thought was innocence, but now she is starting to change her mind?
