Find Madeleine McCann On Facebook
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
SAY the McCanns: “We strongly support and encourage this new initiative to use Facebook to increase awareness of missing children.”
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you will know that children go missing.
Although not if you’re watching the TV news of reading the newspapers because Madeleine McCann is no longer in the mass media.
But the campaign has not been in vain. She is on a press release.
And the better news is that no children have gone missing in the past few weeks. We look through the mainstream press every day. It’s a fact. But what of life on the internet?
The statement goes on: “Using the power of social media in this way will undoubtedly capture the attention - and hopefully the help - of a younger population who are a hugely valuable and resourceful group.
“We would urge the millions of Facebook users around the world to keep looking and to do what they can to help bring these children home.”
Missing People has set up a widget for Facebook users to download, which will mean information on current appeals will be displayed on their homepage.
Says missing People Chief Executive Paul Tuohy: “If every Facebook user downloaded our BT-powered application, millions of people internationally could see an appeal that could help us to reunite a family.”
Because BT cares…

Hi Fair
You’ve been away too? Did you enjoy yourself?
I only scanned this thread for a few posters. Too lazy to read them all. I most certainly don’t want to read the abusive posts.
And no, I won’t hold my breath.

Hi all
Phew! Just caught up with all the posts since yesterday pm.
Looks like last night was quite a night! Glad I wasn’t around!
Lots of nastiness, some justified, even tho’ I don’t condone it. Some really out of order!
Totje. Glad you had a good break. And don’t hold your breath for an answer? Also thanks for the comment (re using my name & what would happen?)
Patch. My thoughts too. The revolting one!
Maria. Keep posting & expressing what you believe in. It’s your right imo.
Mods and Admin
Of course she can post what she believes in, but what does she believe? half her posts say one thing and then the opposite - innocent and guilty,, its either /or

Oh, and in which post was it stated about this sensitive info. I must have missed that one. Can you specify? This ‘Pikey’ has posted two, three times each evening and his posts have referred to me. I have been worried and studied them. If he has mentioned this then that is more worrying for me. When was this posted?

Embarrasing to admit it, butI didn’t know it was a delphic prohecy; clearly my overlaided brain needs rest.

I don’t know. I’ve seen him post I think one evening, when someone else was calling me names. And that evening s/he attacked Ciara if I’m not mistaken.
I think one needs to be a native English speaking person to recognise the poster’s language/way of building sentence’s etc. It’s beyond my powers. That’s why I’m more interested in some patterns I see.
May 27th, 2008 at 12:37 am
Has anyone notice the “thickening” around the middle of Kate? Look at the BBC site with photo of “flowers being carried” Looks like there may be the patter of McCannfeet - but maybe I am completely wrong and it just the unflattering angle of the camera
May 27th, 2008 at 12:35 am
Sam the theory is rather complex, but its core is simple. The reality of a situation is just that, no amount of wishing that the reality was some how different will alter that.
Posters are inventing and embellishing things to suit their view of things, a form of self delusion, what I do know is that Madeleine is missing, that is the reality, everything else at this time is pure conjecture, very little of it honest or reasonable.

‘I never believed that they landed on the moon and I still dont. but Mars? what do they think we are - idiots ? 40 years on and they still think we are morons!!! For a kick off - who the bloody hell wants to know what is on Mars - it would take nearly a year to get there and NOBODY gets that sort of annual leave- do they? but the moon saga - well that just beggars belief - I had to change twice for plane to refuel to get to Australia in 1969 - and they say they got to the MOON - bullshit’

We have now reached the point where politicians are desperate not to sound like the McCanns, hence Gordon’s
‘I feel personally responsible and there are no excuses”
on the local government results.
They have gone from being the tragic victims to the Black Spot…’
gorden feeling personally responsible for something ? i’m not sure what to make of that. i don’t know what the black spot means either.
—————————————
I think it means he has concluded that failing to take responsibility for your actions, and making excuses instead, is catastrophic in its effects on the voters, since it reminds them of the McCcanns.
THe black spot comes from Robert Louis Stevenson, in his novel ‘Treasure Island’.
‘a pirate is presented with a “black spot” to officially pronounce a verdict of guilt or judgment. It consists of a piece of paper or card, with a circular black spot in the middle and placed in the hand of the accused. It was a source of much fear because it meant the pirate will be executed.’
You see why the Black Spot is perfectly good description of people who are the kiss of death to aspiring politicians…

Dr W
Hi!
I’ve just answered a post from whoops. Apart from that I think it’s better I don’t post any more.
I believe M and A are not happy with my posts even though I have at least usually tried to be courteous. I think I’ve given sources for views or stated that they were only opinions. Other people are allowed to say some outrageous things without any substantiation at all. I think that shows that M and A simply do not want me here and that’s why they pick me up on the slightest thing.
It doesn’t bother me in the least. They are the moderators and they call the tune. They are free to promote and encourage whatever views they wish to on their own site on which we are guests, so to speak. I take a turn at moderating another site (nothing to do with Mcs) and it’s not an easy job.
In fact, I’ll have a lot more time for other things from now on!
And work starts again tomorrow.
By the way, like everyone else, I have no idea what happened to Madeleine McCann. I never have had. How could I?
Good luck Dr W! Not long till you overtake Holmes! Elementary!

Don’t you think we should go out and buy as much wine as we can before she’s got it all or prices increase because of her drinking habits it’s getting rare?

Rasputin Says:
‘This case, as everything else in life is subject to the theory of reality, only it appears that in this case the reality of the situation has been ignored, by parties intent on their own agendas.’
the problem isn’t their agendas, the problem is what is real, what really happened, do you know ?
