Find Madeleine McCann On Facebook
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
SAY the McCanns: “We strongly support and encourage this new initiative to use Facebook to increase awareness of missing children.”
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you will know that children go missing.
Although not if you’re watching the TV news of reading the newspapers because Madeleine McCann is no longer in the mass media.
But the campaign has not been in vain. She is on a press release.
And the better news is that no children have gone missing in the past few weeks. We look through the mainstream press every day. It’s a fact. But what of life on the internet?
The statement goes on: “Using the power of social media in this way will undoubtedly capture the attention - and hopefully the help - of a younger population who are a hugely valuable and resourceful group.
“We would urge the millions of Facebook users around the world to keep looking and to do what they can to help bring these children home.”
Missing People has set up a widget for Facebook users to download, which will mean information on current appeals will be displayed on their homepage.
Says missing People Chief Executive Paul Tuohy: “If every Facebook user downloaded our BT-powered application, millions of people internationally could see an appeal that could help us to reunite a family.”
Because BT cares…

Yes….rate of decomposition is dependant upon ambient temperatures etc.
Can hasten it or slow it down.
M and A
Freezing can halt it, heat whether hot weather or a heated room would speed the rate up

alarming don;t you think, were they there for almost a week. would expect dna all over and fingerprints, know what kids are like, and the bedding that MADDIE had used the night of the 3rd. or was that washed, well.

Laying in the “recovery” position.
Very strange, isnt it? I would have said foetal position but “recovery”? it really is a word we use in very specific situations….

Well….a sensible person wouldn’t “steal” a corpse…easier to lift some
valuables…and make a getaway…somewhat richer in material gain if
not morally.

Very puzzling indeed….considering that there have been suggestions
that there was no DNA of MM or the twins in the apartment.
May 25th, 2008 at 10:22 pm
So…if M had been killed by an abductor he could have been in there for a while and then removed body after the last check-through the door I might add-don’t think M went out through a window-Hmmm, what motive though-could have at least nicked all the mobile phones & watches they’d left behind1

Garth!
So, in through the front door, out by the window.
But how did the abductor get in through the front door? Apparently it had a tricky and elaborate key system.
And why did the abductor not go out the same way, having mastered the lock?

354-If there had to be a corpse there for at least 2 hours and the Mc Canns say they saw her an hour before she dissappeared-they, or the dogs, must be lying. Or…..?
the dogs dont’ lie, they signal what they’ve been trained to do. but why do you think a corpse has to have been there for two hours ?
i read a pdf (posted here some time ago i think), very interesting it was, a study on the reliabilty of cadaver dogs. in this study they used bodies of people not long dead, i think an hour to one and half hours dead and laid these bodies for varying times on carpet squares, say one for two minutes and one for ten minutes, and even after just two minutes of contact with a carpet square, the dogs were pretty accurate. their innacuracy wasn’t so much scenting where no cadaver had lain but was more an over-running, that is missing out a square where they should have scented cadaverine. in no cases did the dogs scent where there had been no cadaverine.

Do you remember when the pj wanted Maddies toothbrush for dna, it was missing. the abductor that did not put socks on her little freezing feet worried about her dental decay.
gerry then had to go to Rothley castle to find her pillow. now what do you make of that

I think that the handler said that sometimes the dog may be in error…but
honestly so…..dogs don’t deliberately react just to lie.
Saw a video about such dogs and their training….one reacted strongly over
a waste/rubbish site….one in which rotting meat had also been thrown onto.
The Investigators….went through the rubbish….nothing re human remains
found…..got digger and carefully excavated the site….checking every level
of moved waste…..until 1o feet down….a body of a man was found…wrapped
up in plastic bags. Had been “buried for quite some time.

Not impossible IMO that we’re looking at lying without lying …
“The truth about the Ly” … ???
May 25th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
BTW: I’ve always found the Madeleine photographs - as released by the McCanns - mystifying.
In some, even the supposedly later and “last” photos, she can look barely three.
In others, she looks taller, much more mature (eg the “tennis balls” and Everton shirt photos).
Anyway, look at the photo above left, on the Anorak story.
This child looks - quite honestly - uncared-for.
Unwashed hair, puffy eyes, pale, generally unkempt - not a bit like the groomed (usually fancy-dress) Madeleine the parents presented for publicity pictures.
