Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you will know that children go missing.
Although not if you’re watching the TV news of reading the newspapers because Madeleine McCann is no longer in the mass media.
But the campaign has not been in vain. She is on a press release.
And the better news is that no children have gone missing in the past few weeks. We look through the mainstream press every day. It’s a fact. But what of life on the internet?
The statement goes on: “Using the power of social media in this way will undoubtedly capture the attention - and hopefully the help - of a younger population who are a hugely valuable and resourceful group.
“We would urge the millions of Facebook users around the world to keep looking and to do what they can to help bring these children home.”
Missing People has set up a widget for Facebook users to download, which will mean information on current appeals will be displayed on their homepage.
Says missing People Chief Executive Paul Tuohy: “If every Facebook user downloaded our BT-powered application, millions of people internationally could see an appeal that could help us to reunite a family.”
Because BT cares…

Do you know why I despise Garth?
Because he pretends he is not a paid McCannite.
He pretends he is here for “the debate” and to get his view across that Madeleine was abducted and the parents are innocent victims of smears.
Yet watch him duck and dive.
Watch him run away from difficult questions.
Watch him sneer at those who ask for clear answers.
He is, clearly, a trainee politician.
This is probably a routine task from Tory/Labour HQ for would be candidates: “Take on people who care a lot about a particular subject.
“See how much you can mislead and manipulate.
“Try to charm some of the weaker members, and also pick one or two other obvious manipulators, to help convince the herd.
“Don’t worry for a moment about the subject. Dead girl, whatever.
“Concentrate on working the ignorant mob. That’s what matters.”

Jass-are you having a laugh-she looks very clean to me and I see no bruises, or swollen eye-My daughter has about 4 bruises at the moment , hair looks unkempt and she has a rash on her face-an allergy. She looks like every other 3 year old in the playground.

Do you remember when the pj wanted Maddies toothbrush for dna, it was missing. the abductor that did not put socks on her little freezing feet worried about her dental decay.
gerry then had to go to Rothley castle to find her pillow. now what do you make of that’
i think it might be difficult to match dna if you don’t have a proper source to match it to.

In most pictures Madeleine has puffy eyes, and also a rather swollen neck.
I am not a nurse or doctor, but would wonder whether she had a thyroid problem.
Do you also see that, in this picture and in several others (including the tennis balls pic which I always understood was taken by MW staff, not the McCanns) she looks very uncared-for for a child of that sort of family?
Unwashed hair, marks on her legs and arms. NOT the child the McCanns advertise for.
