Find Madeleine McCann On Facebook
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
SAY the McCanns: “We strongly support and encourage this new initiative to use Facebook to increase awareness of missing children.”
Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you will know that children go missing.
Although not if you’re watching the TV news of reading the newspapers because Madeleine McCann is no longer in the mass media.
But the campaign has not been in vain. She is on a press release.
And the better news is that no children have gone missing in the past few weeks. We look through the mainstream press every day. It’s a fact. But what of life on the internet?
The statement goes on: “Using the power of social media in this way will undoubtedly capture the attention - and hopefully the help - of a younger population who are a hugely valuable and resourceful group.
“We would urge the millions of Facebook users around the world to keep looking and to do what they can to help bring these children home.”
Missing People has set up a widget for Facebook users to download, which will mean information on current appeals will be displayed on their homepage.
Says missing People Chief Executive Paul Tuohy: “If every Facebook user downloaded our BT-powered application, millions of people internationally could see an appeal that could help us to reunite a family.”
Because BT cares…

Sometimes you are as “ingenuous” as Maria pretends to be. Also, every time you jump to Garth’s defence, which you do so often, you let him off the hook.
Sometimes I wonder why you are always defending the man, when you get so furious about other McCannites.
As for Garth.
This is a step forward for him as he is admitting that the McCanns left the patio doors unlocked, the abductor crept in through those unlocked doors, grabbed the poor child and then somehow lifted the heavy shutters and carried her out through the window.
It is important because it adds to the fact that M was abducted because of their carelessness.
————
Nevermind why she was abducted. You tell me why you find it so hard to understand my little furry one? And how heavy do you think shutters are? Do you think they are made of lead to make it difficult for people to open?

Yes….rate of decomposition is dependant upon ambient temperatures etc.
Can hasten it or slow it down.
yes. rigor mortis starts to set in relatively quickly after death, say four to six hours, depending on the ambient temperature.

Mr de Abreu said: “After September 15, a new procedural penal code was introduced making it necessary for there to be evidence against the citizen to make him an arguido.
“Before September 15, it wasn’t necessary. You could be made an arguido without any suspicions or evidence against you.
The extensions are under the old law, they would not be arguidos under the new law, that requires a thing called evidence, which the arguido must be made aware of.
Mods and Admin
No one has said they would not, someone said they may not be, there is a difference
Its possible that no one should ever have been made an arguido, including Murat

Hi gilly
The mccanns must go by law,not the witnesses.
Noone out of their charming little group is interested in finding new clues to find Madeleine are they?
The PJ has more than a trick up their sleeves, you will see

My sauce on the ground and on site and well connected to the pj say all the evidence has been moved to a very well secured, secret place, cause they are weary of all the thieving and blowing up of cars in portimao. allegedly.

Well….a sensible person wouldn’t “steal” a corpse…easier to lift some
valuables…and make a getaway…somewhat richer in material gain if
not morally.
doesn’t really make any sense for an abductor to remove a person they’ve killed does it, not at all. if there was an abductor who, for instance, killed maddie while sedating her or something then it would make no sense to remove her body from the appartment. and if that had happened then surely the dogs would’ve scented the smell of death on the bed and not in the living room. but the dogs did not signal cadaverine in her bed, so i suspect she was never laid there if the scent came from her.
May 25th, 2008 at 10:50 pm
Of course, the alternative to this abductor theory is that somehow Madeleine may hve died whilst in the care of G&K-they put her in bed-knowing that someone else would do a check and could confirm that Maddie was there-except they didn’t actually check-just heard no noise assumed all was well, bang goes your independent witness-if, and big if, they managed to move the body and then raise the alarm-the scent of a cadavre of at least 2 hours is there-would have worked if Oldfield had verified seeing Maddie there-but he can’t confirm seeing even a corpse there as he didn’t look. This is all not even IMO-it’s just a line of thought.
Got to take the radiator out for a walk soon.
edited jj and a line of thought is an opinion

It is a Fact that the Arguidoships are current.
But as you have been so picky…Your Fact 1 may actually be non-factual.
If the parents know where she or her remains are.

Hello Anorak!
I escaped upstairs. Done my duty and fed the family, so have settled down to an hour of Anorak.
IMHO they won’t go back to Portugal. Despite all Kate’s fine words she knows - and will have been advised - that it would not be safe for them to return. As arguido’s I think they have a vested interest in not putting themselves in further jeopardy by returning to the scene of the crime.
I also had a thought on why the PJ didn’t seize Cuddlecat for forensics for quite some time.
We don’t know when exactly Kate decided that Cuddlecat was Madeleine’s favourite toy. We’ve touched on this before and several of us have said that our kids favourite toys were inseperabel from our kids.
Kate suddenly announced that Cuddlecat was Madeleine’s after she started carrying it round. And we’ve only got her and Gerry’s word for it. We’ve also only got her word that it was on a high shelf.
I thought I read somewhere that it was actually for her birthday and that she had onlyjust had it and actually Amelie was more attached to it than Madeleine.
I think Cuddlecat is a red herring as far as forensic is concerned and that Madeleine’s actual “comfort blanket” is still with her.
Wherever “they” took her.

Do you know why I despise Garth?
Because he pretends he is not a paid McCannite.
He pretends he is here for “the debate” and to get his view across that Madeleine was abducted and the parents are innocent victims of smears.
Yet watch him duck and dive.
Watch him run away from difficult questions.
Watch him sneer at those who ask for clear answers.
He is, clearly, a trainee politician.
This is probably a routine task from Tory/Labour HQ for would be candidates: “Take on people who care a lot about a particular subject.
“See how much you can mislead and manipulate.
“Try to charm some of the weaker members, and also pick one or two other obvious manipulators, to help convince the herd.
“Don’t worry for a moment about the subject. Dead girl, whatever.
“Concentrate on working the ignorant mob. That’s what matters.”
