Wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you will know that children go missing.
Although not if you’re watching the TV news of reading the newspapers because Madeleine McCann is no longer in the mass media.
But the campaign has not been in vain. She is on a press release.
And the better news is that no children have gone missing in the past few weeks. We look through the mainstream press every day. It’s a fact. But what of life on the internet?
The statement goes on: “Using the power of social media in this way will undoubtedly capture the attention - and hopefully the help - of a younger population who are a hugely valuable and resourceful group.
“We would urge the millions of Facebook users around the world to keep looking and to do what they can to help bring these children home.”
Missing People has set up a widget for Facebook users to download, which will mean information on current appeals will be displayed on their homepage.
Says missing People Chief Executive Paul Tuohy: “If every Facebook user downloaded our BT-powered application, millions of people internationally could see an appeal that could help us to reunite a family.”
Because BT cares…

I know who you are too. It is my job to look for spelling , grammar, punctuation errors. After years of doing it it is easier to identify by that method than wasting time looking for a name. Several people make common mistakes and use ‘there’ and ‘their’ or ‘to’ and ‘too’ etc in the wrong context but some make other mistakes which are unique to their style of writing.

Garth is such a trickster that he has tried to cover his tracks about what he said tonight.
But what he said, incontrovertibly, was that the so-called abductor came for M through the patio doors the McCanns say they left unlocked.
Obviously this sort of talk doesn’t suit the McCanns, who fear being charged for wilful neglect of their children.
So..

Not too far. But not too obvious. Not the beach. But maybe water.
And I still stand by my very early post many many moons ago that I think something happened at bathtime. And poor Madeleine bore the brunt of it.
Accident maybe, but had to be covered up. Why? Who knows? Will we ever get the truth.
I also think that Kate and Gerry now believe that they are telling the truth. Which is different to it actually being the truth. IMO
I actually feel quite sorry for them. Their daughter is gone. They’ve done nothing except parade in front of the media like film stars / royalty. They believ in their own publicity now.
One’s fall is far harder than one’ s climb to the top.
We shall see.

The thing is we are very much convinced there was no abduction,as you know,therefore to think in terms of legging it through a window with shutter,,,I mean,it is really looking for complications

In fairness i can see why people doubt an abduction. The point is none of us know anything about the type of person(s) who might have carried out such a crime. We can only question what we understand to be facts.
We dont know if there were more than one person involved or not. We dont know if they were observed prior to the abduction and that it was planned. We dont know the reasons behind such an abduction.
We do know that the patio doors were unlocked. This may well have been apparent to the abductor/s had they observed the apartment from the ones opposite. There was plenty of time for abduction to take place if the abductor had hidden from view of Gm whilst he made his check. We have been told by Kate that she found the window and shutters open.
I’ve said this before but i think it is apparent the way Tanner claimed she saw this person carrying the child. Her head was to the left shoulder. This to me suggest only two things as we know that Madeleines was in the bed against the bottom wall nearesgt the door. The abductor either picked her up and carried her to the bed below the window, clambered out and picked her up again and scuttled off. Or she was passed to someone else through the window. In both cases the child would end up with her head to the left should of the abductor.
