The idea of actually caring about a violent arthouse film investigating the life of Bobby Sands is a very tall order indeed.

I agree, it is always said, look to the Family. It”s easy for the McCanns to say they
would attend, knowing there were some who wouldn”t !!!
It would be a great pity if the case is closed without charge, although I feel the PJ
havn”t spent all this time and money for nothing. If the case is closed without charge
it can only be Political IMO

Not a stranger, not an evil abductor, not an opportunistic or lucky abductor.
Fritzl was the victims’ father.
Look to the parents. This is where everything starts. If there is no evidence of any abductor, then you have to keep looking at the parents and others close to them.

Indeed it would be better if every poster would stick to his/her own agenda once and for all. It makes reading far more convenient and faster if you already know in advance what you will read. After all there are still some hundreds of posts per day we have to process.

Will try to be back later. Now I have a date to search. He had this theorie that the parents did not do it, but that they know who did it, that the PJ know this but that they cannot get any answers about it from them. I know he had this strange idea, can’t remember it did not make sense then, maybe now.

The Payne”s were the only couple to bring a baby Monitor and possibly Diane
Webster would have checked on their child as well. JT brought a 10 month old baby
and a girl, I think Madeleine”s age so JT could be made an arguido as well if the PJ
can prove the children were”nt checked as often as claimed.
That”s why she doesn”t want to go back to Portugal and the 4 who refused will be
perhaps the ones the PJ expected to refuse. Maybe they have been more clever than
we think.

We are both parents and I am sure when your children were very young you wouldn”t
have left them unattended for so long. However, if your child said to you “Mummy,
why didn”t you come when Sean and I were crying”……….would you have left them
again that same night?????????
That”s what I think is reprehensible, and Kate shrugged it off as “something or
nothing”, yet had they stayed in or put the children in the Creche, Madeleine would be
alive today.

Small children to care for?
Don’t you know it is perfectly fine to leave small children alone, for virtually 12 hours or more, and please, don’t bother to lock the door or even close the door behind you! Just go, have din-din, get snookered, re-enact the events of the evening….it’s fine! It’s obviously not child abuse or neglect–or surely, the McCanns would have been arrested and booked and charged and tried by now, n’est pas?
Just take off on the aerodoodle–they could be home in a flash, before the typkes even wake up. If they wake up….

Indeed, it could mean that she is an important witness. But maybe you are right and she says “I’ve told everything I know in detail during a 12 hours interview, I have nothing more to add and I’m not convinced of the usefulness of my presence.”
Also it could be that only one of each couple has agreed to attend. They all have small children to care for after all.

With respect, ’smelling of roses’ does seem an odd way of putting it.
If you mean without any charges brought against them because of their baby sitting arrangements then i guess we’ll just have to agree to differ. I think anyone who has had their child stolen from them (irrespective of what all the cynics think) would be suffering enough.

Because if they had then i would assume that an efficient investigative team would ‘order’ them back to Portugal. The friends would then feel obliged to go back and try and help them out the crap. But that doesnt appear to have happened.
