Lucy and Rickey are of a generation that come to Crete to have fun. Sex, Sun and booze. The police have their time in Crete cut out because of the huge lack of respect this generation shows for the locals, other tourists and property. The local Tourist Police act first and ask questions later - by necessity. So even if we have a pair of innocents in these two, done over by a jealous local it is just bad luck on them. They'll just have to put it down to one of life's experiences, chastened and wiser.
