Madeleine McCann: Jasper Gerard - What I Did On My Holidays
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
PRIVATE Eye reports that Telegraph columnist Jasper Gerard – a sometime sports writer who surely needs billing as ‘Jaspie G’ - marked the first anniversary of Madeleine McCann’s disappearance by travelling to Portugal with his wife and two children.
He also, allegedly, took along a security guard for baby minding duties.
Sadly, the reported investigation was never published, it being said to be too revolting for the paper’s Travel Editor, although it may yet appear in the main news section…
Mr Gerard has not replied to the rumour…

IMO it wasnt a setup with pre ordered mobiles etc but a reaction to an “incident” so it would be their own mobiles that were used IMO

Good evening.
Another Parents Evening over. One more to go.
I saw some happy parents, some not so happy and some who left quite distraught. I felt bad but had to tell the truth.
Duncan
I know what you mean about phones. I got a new one a few weeks ago and have tried to send pictures to my sisters and friends. They all appear to have been sent but nobody appears to have received them.

well that’s assuming whatever it was was planned isn’t it ? it’s a good point though.

There are so many simcards nowadays…. I have three.
An ordinary contract sim. A sim for making cheap calls to mobiles abroad and another sim for making cheap call from a mobile abroad.
Saves a fortune on charges and is well worth it if you travel a lot but downside is everyone keeps borrowing them and I lose track of where they are!

171-Yes, unless there was an accident and it wasn’t so well thought out. But then again I believe she was alive on 2nd May so really can’t see of what consequence any calls received on that day would have-so WTF am I going on about….????

‘Sam, unless you want to march around barking like a sergeant major, oblivious to all around you. Do not under any circumstances, get a mobile phone.’
saul what if i march around like that already ? perhaps i should get one as a good cover. but no, i don’t really want one, don”t cope well with fiddly stuff.

Yeah - games, camera, email, all sorts of fiddly things. That many menus and sub menus I can’t find any bloody thing. Need to wait for No 2 son to come round at weekend to show me how to work it.
May 29th, 2008 at 8:55 pm
Regardless - I do not believe this was an - All on PAYG phone jaunt - to eliminate Madeleine - what a thought - Its bad enough thinking of a body - but all those phones being dumped at sea - what a waste !!

Criminal defense lawyers are a breed apart, and I don’t (necessarily) mean that in an insulting way. Most defense lawyers believe they have a calling of sorts to keep the legal system working by providing a vigorous defense for anyone accused of a crime. I don’t believe any lawyer who would defend Pinochet would turn down the McCann case. The American lawyer Alan Dershowitz has joked that if he were given the chance to defend Hitler, he’d take the case…and then kill the client.

just because you change the sim does not mean that the handset does not record the numbers dialed or recieved
