But among others I feel they were in poor taste, and she could have held her fire until a more appropriate moment. I agree that China's stance on many things is way off the radar, but that is all down to the politicians -they can if they wish improve their Human rights issues at a stroke, and can do a lot for the poverty of the population,and resolve the Tibet issue too. They can also improve their barbaric treatment of animals. But it was the general population who were suffering, and it was a prime chance to seize to show the politicians a good example of how to treat people humanely. Dee
