COURTNEY Love says the ashes of her late husband, rock legend Kurt Cobain, have been stolen in a burglary two weeks ago.
Mostly, only homemade porn movies are stolen from celebrity homes, but stardom is about staying ahead of fashion and Love says Cobain has been nicked.
The Nirvana singer was not kept in the manner of Jeremy Bentham’s auto icon, rather in a pink teddy-bear shaped bag along with a lock of his hair.
Says Love: “They were all I had left of my husband. I can’t believe anyone would take Kurt’s ashes from me. I find it disgusting and right now I’m suicidal. If I don’t get them back I don’t know what I’ll do.”
“They were all I had left of my husband. I used to take them everywhere with me just so I could feel Kurt was still with me.”
Luckily, all is not lost and Love can buy her former husband’s shoes and pace the streets of LA looking for her husband, perhaps calling his name and beckoning with her fingers…
