Charlton Heston’s Home Gun Collection
CHARLTON Heston was the president of the US National Rifle Association.
He might still be the president - can you ever leave? Although Angelina Jolie is making a play for the post.
These are pictures of Heston’s Gun Room at his 1860s Manor House.
Others among you may have more guns in your abode, people like Belfast Father Seamus O’Tooled-Up, ‘Ozzy’ at the Kabul Kebab, Peckham, and Westminster Council Traffic Wardens, but Heaston had star quality. When he shot you in the face it was a cause for celebration, and a possible auction of your remaining teeth and flesh.

Most people are confused, I guess he enjoyed collecting guns, it is his right. I guess it would have been better if he would have collected stamps or coins, but I think he prefered guns.

BEEN THERE-DONE THAT. WITHOUT A GUN ONE TIME I WOULD NOT BE AT THIS PC RIGHT NOW AND I NEVER SHOT ANYONE OR COMMITTED A CRIME EVER.
SITTING PROUDLY STILL

This is to Dairy. These guns were collected from people who fought fro our country, to give you the right to freedom of speech, so you can spew out a bunch of useless trash, without knowing what your talking about. God bless Charlton Heston and anyone else like him.

Robert - where did you get your information? It is not correct. This is not the Bruce Stern Collection. It is truly amazing how people do buy into this “crap” and you did as well. Before you make comments about that, do your research and see if what you find is actually true.

Some people really care for history and for the men who carried these weapens. It sad that kids are shooting other kids in schools, But please dont look at Gun collector like there nuts. At least they take them of the street, and they lock those guns up. And every Gun collector that I know Have a good alarm sytem. Why cant we work together as Americans, and fight crime quit blaming the guns.

Mona is correct. This is not a picture of Heston’s home nor his collection. Heston lived in the same home in Beverly Hills for decades. The picture is of a home in Connecticut and the collection of a man by the name of Bruce Stern. It was one of the largest gun collections sold in mass. I think the figure was around $12 million.
It’s amazing how this crap gets on the net and everybody buys into it. Micheal Moore must be smilling.

I think it may be mine. I certainly have a nickel plated browning .30 calibre lying around the house somewhere

This is NOT Charlton Heston’s home. These 2 photos are fraud!
M and A

‘If the USA and England and Wales had the same population size, the USA would have 34 times the number of shooting homicides that the UK has. ‘

ah yes, stoning is also a pretty lunatic way to go, so better watch out for the rock collectors as well - good point!!
the gun owners are the retards, without a doubt, as are their power-crazy, trigger-happy neurotic supporters - ring any bells?
June 11th, 2008 at 4:26 pm
So Heston is a nut for owning this many guns????? So a ….show me where he committed a gun crime? Nope he never did, people collect friggin rocks that is nuttier to me than this. Maybe they are going to throw the rocks at people……golly gee! You people are retarded and I hope your gun less home is invaded by some whacko. You’ll be praying for a gun that day.
June 11th, 2008 at 3:45 pm
that’s right - arm the lunatic rednecks, what a fantastic policy!!

“The Constitution perserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation where the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms” …..James Madison

The NRA is the reason why we all love america imo.
Where else would people believe that more people owning more guns makes you safer.
June 11th, 2008 at 12:40 pm
Anyone in , let alond chairing, the NRA is a bit of a nutter in my book.
However, at least he only collected the guns. There are plenty of big game hunters who take pride (no pun intended!) in collecting the things that had been shot with the guns.

I Wonder if my posty would deliver to CH house?
June 11th, 2008 at 12:05 pm
too technical for me!! I still think he and his colleagues are dangerous nutters…
June 11th, 2008 at 11:43 am
I don’t think it’s Charlton Heston’s at all. If you look at the AK47 in the centre of the first picture it still has it bayonet and bayonet bar attached. As any fool kno, it’s illegal to own an AK47 in the States with the bayonet bar still attached. You could have someones eye out. I can’t believe that CH would own an illegal weapon
June 11th, 2008 at 10:42 am
…as chairman of the NRA, can’t see that he would keep any rifle that wouldn’t fire!!!
June 11th, 2008 at 10:06 am
Charlton Heston looked so quiet. It was hard to believe he has such arsenal at home. Some people collect weapons though, like others do knives, and tanks and weapons of war. Hope they were all unable to fire though.
June 11th, 2008 at 9:58 am
there is something seriously wrong with someone so obsessed with machines specifically designed for no other function than to kill … he may be a legendary Hollywood star but he’s still a complete nutter in my book…
June 11th, 2008 at 9:31 am
So Charlton Heston wasn’t just a supporter of ‘the right to bear arms’, he was a full-blown fanatic, obsessed with guns and everything that goes with them.
Scary. However, I bet he was never burgled!!
June 11th, 2008 at 9:28 am
…scary….

snap - I loved the bloodcurdling way Heston used to say ‘From my cold dead hands’ holding the rifle high for dramatic effect ooooh
June 10th, 2008 at 8:55 pm
Wow what an arse-nil and I’m not talking about the number of English players in Arsenal’s first soccer team
Weapons of mass destruction from his ‘cold dead hands’ Why did Bush bother with Iraq?
June 10th, 2008 at 8:51 pm
Which one was prised from his cold dead hands?
