Madeleine McCann: Daily Mirror Brings Yesterday’s New Tomorrow
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY MIRROR: Kate and Gerry McCann ask police to release vital files
The Mirror brings a follow up to the earlier story that the McCanns are to see the police files on them.
McCanns not seen poilice files today but might do tomorrow. Read all about it. Such is the news:
Kate and Gerry McCann will ask a High Court judge to order police to release files which they believe will help the search for their missing daughter Madeleine.
The couple hope their application on July 7 will force Leicestershire Police to hand over information on hundreds of sightings.
Until now Leicestershire, their local force, has claimed to be bound by a secrecy agreement with Portuguese police.
But the McCanns fear many sightings of their little girl have not been followed up in the year since she went missing.
Hundreds of sightings? What odds the Mirror features every one of them as news?

You were absolutely fabulous the other night.
I have not laughed so much in ages
__________
She was fantastic, Noseycow. Coco, are you telling me you were under the ‘influence’ when you helped defend women on here against that bloody bastard? Heck, after the great job we all did in chasing that vermin off this site, I thought for sure AGW would make us the honorary guards of the gate here on Anorak late at night so the M&A could get a good night’s sleep without a worry in the world!
Think about it, isn’t it always the females of the species who hunt the prey down and go for the kill? Jungle for instant - it is the lioness who hunt the prey and drag it back for all to feast. Female cats are the hunters, a tom cat is useless and spends its time keeping them pregnant.

Mr Y it must have been terrible for you and the two others who have been affected by my actions. It really has scarred your minds. I do apologise for subjecting you to the action of flirting in public.
Goodnight.

Ciara, a word of advice kindly offered to you, you have made your ap0logies now drop it and ignore the unkind remarks made by some of the ‘moral majority’ others on here.
It was over and done with months ago and I find it quite interesting that there are posters on here who get their ‘jollies’ kicking others when they are ‘down.’ Be a better person than those few are and ignore their nasty remarks and hold your head high!

Cover up at Portuguese end ?
Paulo Santos, Goncalo Amaral’s lawyer (0:55)
I think that his removal from the case may have been useful — not sure to whom — but may have
been useful at least in one way: we were sure that, as long as he was in charge, there would be a strong commitment to the investigation.

Have I heard corectly that the K and G can pay lawyers out of M’s fund but must pay it back if found gulity?
Just wondering how the hell their lawyers bills can ever be paid back. There’s hardly any equity in the house and the lawyers are upwards of £5oo per hour - and that’s not the top lawyers rates.
If and it’s a big IF - they are found guilty of leaving their child to molestation and muching by sardine on the said premises - how will they pay everything back whilst serving a two-ten sentence or life?????

The WOC concerning MMc is only a tactical ploy by the lawyers to get information about the case.
The defence cannot be built on thin air and they need to know the evidence that the police have in order to counter any allegations made about the Clan.
Due to the enormous time-line cock-up I would hate to be one of the Defence lawyers. Not a good career move eh?
However, knowing how quickly Caplan was taken on, it would appear that somebody around the Clan was certainly thinking long-term. Not just GMc LOL.
To give GMc his dues, he was very astute and far-sighted when he delivered unto us in one of his many sermons that big money was going to be needed well into the future!
And he is bang on right!
Uncanny!
Or utterly canny!
What a canny Clan member he is to have known that the search would go on and on and on and on and on without the child or her remains being found!
Every other kid in the World gets found at some point or another in one state or another - but not M!
And GMcC seemed to know that almost instantly! Parental instinct? Uncanny! What a canny wee Scot he is, he is, he is. What a canny wee Scot he is!
You never think that doctors are psychic and gifted in that sixth sense do you? But GMc definitely is - without a doubt.
I would like to have a private sitting with the Clan and ask them to tell me my future but I know they are busy trying not to get extradited and not not being dragged into doing re-enactments.

June 23rd, 2008 at 5:15 am
Mods and Admin …….
Many, many thanks for allowing me to continue making my worthless contributions on Anorak after the previous night’s rantings! I had been to a party and was terribly drunk and foul-mouthed.
I absolutely adore the whole site but only ever comment on the M case. I won’t know where to go after ebay and Rightmove when this case is over! lol
June 23rd, 2008 at 5:07 am
I should be around a bit more this week - if I play my cards right. So I am hoping for some leaks or progression on the case.
The only tit-bit I have to offer at the moment is that the lesser mortals at Leicester police station are not and won’t be party to anything that could get into the media!!!
How unprecedented is this? Nobody is allowed to know anything about anything to with anything about the capers of the Clan.
My new novel will be called ‘Clan Capers and Coriander!’ Anything to take away the taste lol
June 23rd, 2008 at 5:01 am
CHERYL …. Hope you are well. Am still up and am in the UK. I have a huge deadliner to meet by 10 am. If you not still around now I will be back on tomorrow.

I’m afraid that it is you who has the scarred mind if you consider your very public torrid displays were ‘flirting’. You have only to read back to know the truth. But truth isn’t a concept that you understand.
It just reminds me of Bill Clinton and his ‘I did not have sex with that woman’.

PIKEY …… Is it absolutely true that Pikey is RR? Or maybe just some other imbecile is using his pc perhaps?
He was a jolly threatening chappie! Sorry for all my foul retorts to his vitriole - if anyone is offended.

Hello everybody!
I hope that I am not banned from Anorak for being foul to Pikey last night. So just testing that I get printed. X

On the last videos I watched of the McCanns, I observed that Gerry insists on the aspect of the impossibility to change what happened.
He often repeats “we can not change it”.
Being doctors, they learnd at the university that a doctor has to accept fatal things, not getting too much emotionally involved in unlucky treatments and operations.
They are trained to think that some things can not be changed, like a soldier is also trained to realize very fast that he can not save his friend anymore.
And they have to continue living their lives as privet persons and as doctors, even feeling sorry for the medical accidents, like the soldier has to continue fighting.
This must be one of the reasons why they could think so fast that fatal night. They could not change the situation and they knew it immediately.
They were lucky that most of Tapas 7 were doctors as well or married to doctors.
Probably most of Tapas 7 learned to think like that too.
This is my opinion about the parents’attitude since the beginning.

Yampster, yes it was a shame. But the offensive players didn’t make a team. They should have used Van Nistelrooy’s capabilities more [I'm echoing my brother, who's a real football fan]
Fair, mrT sleeps! He won’t be pleased if I wake him up. As I’m still addicted to Anorak [and still want to know what happened to that little girl, whatshername] I catched up posts.
Ciara, when it started [the flirting] it was funny, but it went on for a too long time. IMO. But what’s done is done, can’t change it. Another experience you [anybody] can learn from.
Really gone now!

You have proof I phoned RR? More worrying… you remember all details about me and what I’ve said. If I believed you were phoning Garth it wouldn’t bother me and I certainly wouldn’t be remembering it or bringing it up months later. Why??
