Before the Mail’s columnist can voice an opinion – and what is the case of Madeleine McCann but one of opinion upon opinion – time to go over the fact that has been established in 14 months of reporting (a child is missing) and hear the McCann plead their innocence.
Oh, there is one other fact: the “McCanns are “both 40”. Remember that.
PEARSON: “The Maddie detectives must now apologise”
Now it seems the spectacularly incompetent Inspector Cluesnos are ready to admit they have no evidence against the McCanns
Yeah, those hapless amateurs. If only the Portuguese wooden tops were more like the British tabloid hacks who root their maybes in Portuguese press reports and hunches. What of Robert Murat?
Now, thank heavens, the ordeal of the inquiry is nearing an end. Nothing can make up for the loss of Madeleine, but at least the family can continue their lives without the poisonous cloud of suspicion hanging over them. It’s the least they deserve.
Yes, an apology will remove any doubt. Bring in the PIs. It’ll be over by Christmas. Case closed.

Case Closed.
Says a source: “If the case is shut without charges being brought, they cannot be arguidos, suspects, any more”.
Tell that to Clarence Mitchell (see above).
What of the facts?
Gerry McCann, a heart specialist, is “39”. Gerry is also 39 in the Sun.

Sam, Gandolf is a dark figure from Celtic mythology, some say Merlin is based on this character. He/she was reputed to have the power to know all things, and of all things.
Ridiculous I know, but that is the legend, that apart his/her knowledge of the Rene Hasee case was to me just another example of things most people are unaware of, yet apparently he/she is.
Be interesting to see if anything relative occurs in court tomorrow.

I do enjoy the comments of the resident windylickers, it is amusing to see them tie themselves in knots, a trait that the ubiquitous views of the young windylicker Karen excels at.
I do also enjoy rattling the cages of the frauds who claim to have inside information, their laughable attempts to ingratiate themselves with the storm troopers of the lynch mob, is pitiful in the extreme.
It would be a better world if people supported justice, rather than took sides on the flimiest of rumours, I f the McCanns are guilty of some heinous crime they should be punished, if not they should be left to carry their terrible burden, the disappearance of their child with all the strength they hold.
Casa Pia is indeed ongoing forty years after the first allegations where made, yet people here are quite happy to protect and justify that case by saying it is ongoing, and how can any one reach a conclusion on it.
These people make me wonder, why don’t they apply the same principle to Madeleines case, or is the vilification of her parents allowed under different principles, most of us support justice, others are quite happy to get the McCanns at the expense of justice.
Forty years on, how many children suffered, because of the innactions and actions of powerful people.

Am off for the day now- had the royal summons to the outlaws (hubby’s great neice 18th birthday BBQ - in THIS weather!!
)
Coupled with the usual anxiety of the outlaws to whom we are not physically or mentally close, I have first to pick up teenage daughter from a sleepover party.
I tried (very very hard) to say no when she asked to go, but persistant pleading about it being a ‘cool kids’ party and wow isn’t it great that SHE got and invite (sigh - she is the coolest kid imo) I finally relented…
So i now also have to cope with a teenager who’s probably had NO sleep, in a long car journey to a place where she (nor I) really want to go…
Oh the joys
So don’t go getting any juicy breaking news while I’m not around PLEASE
