Madeleine McCann: Child Alert, Fear And Tony Bennett’s McCann Club
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY TELEGRAPH: “Madeleine McCann: Kate and Gerry’s fury at ‘club’ devoted to prosecuting them”
Gerry and Kate McCann have expressed their anger at the establishment of a fee-paying “club” dedicated to seeing them prosecuted over the disappearance of their daughter Madeleine.
A retired British solicitor, Tony Bennett, has set up a fund called The Madeleine Foundation, which aims to bring a private prosecution against the McCanns for alleged child neglect.
Tony Bennett has been on Anorak.
But Madeleine’s parents fear members of the public will inadvertently donate money to it because they may mistake it for the McCanns’ own Madeleine Fund, which pays for private investigations into her whereabouts.
Mr Bennett says his fund is a “subscription-only members’ club, charging a £10 annual fee”.
Says Clarence Mitchell, the McCanns’ spokesman: “It is a great shame that Mr Bennett feels the need to make money out of Madeleine McCann. He did not seek permission from Gerry or Kate to use Madeleine’s name.”
It’s a brand?
“This so-called foundation is in no way doing anything to help find Madeleine.”
Says Bennett:
“Some of the money immediately raised will be used to pay for a barrister to give his or her opinion on how best to proceed with a legal action against the McCanns. We are a group of people, which is rapidly growing in number, who want to get to the truth of what happened to Madeleine. We will also campaign for changes to the law about parents who leave children on their own.
DAILY MAIL: “Brussels throws out McCann’s appeal for European missing child alert system”
Kate and Gerry McCann’s campaign for an alert system for missing children across Europe will not be adopted by the EU, ministers said yesterday.
FENLAND TODAY: “McCanns win more backing for child abduction alert”
More MEPs have backed a campaign spearheaded by the Rothley parents of Madeleine McCann for a Europe-wide child abduction alert, the couple’s spokesman said.
WALES ONLINE: “Common sense not cotton wool for children, says safety tsar”
PARENTS should not respond to fears of child abduction and knife crime by wrapping their children in “cotton wool”, a leading charity’s new child safety tsar warned.
Karen McFarlane has been appointed by Children in Wales to promote a reduction in avoidable deaths and injuries.
She said: “What we’d like to try to do is empower both the children and the parent as they make informed choices. We don’t want to wrap them in cotton wool”…
Lynne Hill, the charity’s policy director, said children’s fears could be fuelled by the portrayal of dangers in media coverage.
She said: “Children are very, very aware of what’s reported on the news. The decision of some children to carry knives was often in response to a fear of attack,” she said.
“What’s striking is very often children think it’s a way of protecting themselves.”
Fears of child abduction had escalated following the disappearance of Madeleine McCann from the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz in May 2007.
Ms Hill said: “I know when Madeleine McCann was kidnapped there were a lot of reports of children being very fearful that someone would snatch them or a friend of theirs”
Increasing the fear. It could be you…

I’m back on my Tooth Fairy scenario again now.
I reckon it’s only Fairies that could have done all this without a trace.
Would Amaral know what Fairy dust looks like or Fairy DNA? I don’t think so - and I think it was the Fairies again.

Gotta feeling that they will not do it live - if at all! They must have been briefed by now that they have the kind of irritating mannerisms, voices, and attitudes that make them look and appear guilty - even though we know that they had absolutely nothing to do with the disappearance whtsoever either in whole or part forever and ever Amen!

Oprah show?
Why not Dr. Phil?
I ask myself if they dare to show up on an American show, where people dare to ask tough questions.
Unless they know the questions already.

I am still suspicious about the actual time of disappearance myself. I am inclined to believe that it was much earlier than is ever alleged.

The twin was dressed in the pyjamas after M had disappeared in them! There is some rferral by a family member that A knew she was wearing M’s pyjamas - but I have never saved anything re: this so don’t know who said it.

Payne is allegedly saying that he saw Mat the apartment when he went to check on K and children at G’s request. However, he only ascertained this after one of the nannies dropped a load of bollocks in the press.
It was another JT moment I believe - where one says that one saw something - but it is subject to change a day or so later! lol

Maybe her corpse was kept in the wardrobe and her pajamas got the scent. The same about Kate’s clothes.
If she was wearing those pajamas identified by the dog and they were clean of blood, possibly she did lose few or no blood.

Maravilha ….. Apparently the guy at the bar who saw G dancing with M was sure of who he had on the tape although the tape is not the kind that is very clear - so he describes it as grainy cctv. However there was not a date timer on the monitor so he accepts that the film could actually be of another day and not May 3rd.

correction,
the PJ files are not saying about Payne seeing Kate, etc. at 6.30 pm
July 10th, 2008 at 1:34 am
Châteleine,
according to the PJ files, Madeleine was last seen at 5.30pm.
and David Payne saw Kate and perhaps the children at 6.30pm.(for me it was never clear if he saw maddie.)
according to the baby sitters of the creche, the McCanns picked up the children at 6.00 pm
according to the PJ files, they said they picked up the children at 5.00pm
according to the man of the Tapas, Gerry danced with Maddy at 5.10pm and this was recorded on a video.

It’s disturbing that Payne seems to have been the one requested to see if KM and the kids were doing fine, which confirmed the last sighting of MM [by others than her parents] at 6:30 p.m. on May 3. It’s also disturbing that 3 of the Tapas identified Murat as having been seen at the scene later that night, whereas reportedly no-one else, including locals helping at the search, who knew him, have reported to have seen him.

MCCANNS’ OPRAH WINDFALL
ABOVE: McCanns: To appear with Oprah
10th July 2008
By Jerry Lawton
MADELEINE McCann’s parents are planning a big bucks interview with US chatshow queen Oprah Winfrey to boost their search fund.
It is understood Oprah, 54, would be willing to break the bank for a cosy chat with Kate and Gerry.
Up to now the couple have resisted offers to appear on celebrity chatshows but they are considering Oprah after the fund set up to find Madeleine plunged to £500,000 – less than half the original amount donated by the public.
Along with private eyes’ bills, the cash has been spent on poster and advertising campaigns appealing for information about Madeleine and running an website.
The McCanns, who still haven’t been officially cleared, sparked controversy when they dipped into the fund twice last year to fund mortgage payments on their home in Rothley, Leics.
The couple’s spokes-man Clarence Mitchell has admitted the couple need to top it up to maintain the hunt for their five-year-old daughter.
Earlier this week police agreed to let the McCanns, both 40, see 81 witness statements taken after Madeleine vanished from their holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in May 2007.

BRANDON
Looking at this map, for what it’s worth, a couple of things:
- it says cadaverine found “in seedbed of the yard (outside patio door entrance)” yet this icon is located at the front door on the street which = confusing
- -it seems that the ONLY place where blood [or non-cadaverine DNA] was found is in the living behind the sofa
- cadaverine itself supposedly was found in the living, the master bedroom and outside the apartment
That would lead to the conclusion that something of an impact or at least something while she was still alive happened in the living. And that after that a corpse was moved several times, viz. to master bedroom and outside.
That could mean that she – indeed, as Dr. G. Amaral said –died in the apartment, was moved to the master bedroom [for a last try to resuscitate her?] and then moved outside, where she was put down for a moment?
What you mentioned about cadaverine scent on PYJAMAS, if true, is alarming. She’s supposed to have been kidnapped, which would be IN her pyjamas, of course. The fact that pyjamas similar to the ones she was supposed to be wearing, are still available and have been identified with cadaverine, would lead to the idea that such pyjamas would have been removed from her before she was moved again. If true, IMO to prevent identification by same pyjamas, if found. Horrible thought.
Combined with the rumours of cadaverine scent on KM’s clothes provokes the image of a mother holding her dying/dead child in despair and not letting her go. “They’ve taken her” …
All speculation on the basis of above floorplan.
