MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY STAR: “MCCANNS’ OPRAH WINDFALL”
MADELEINE McCann’s parents are planning a big bucks interview with US chatshow queen Oprah Winfrey to boost their search fund.
They’ve cracked America. In yer face Barbara Walters.
It is understood Oprah, 54, would be willing to break the bank for a cosy chat with Kate and Gerry.
How the Star came to understand this is unsaid. But let’s look out for the “cosy chat” - the one performed before tens of millions of people. Who’s looking for the missing child? We’re watching the parents.

451- For posters who never read anything
“The typed up hearings of the couple’s friends, carried out by the British police, before they were interrogated by the PJ after Madeleine’s disappearance, are collected in Appendix 886 of the final report. For the Portuguese authorities, the “very careful,” way in which the couple’s friends, “recalled,” the unfolding of the evening of May 3rd holds no emotion.
For example, in the group, some of the friends had children asleep alone in their hotel rooms. Why did they not, instinctively, go to see if their children were OK after Kate reported Madeleine’s disappearance? They rushed to help look for Madeleine but they did not go to see if their children had also been abducted! This document is considered important by the authorities.”

The McCanns want the 11.000 pieces of documents.
They probably intend to sell them for 1 pound per piece and they will make 11.000 pounds.

Maria, can you try to explain this,
After the alarm, that night, Tapas 6 stood op (Tapas bar) and ren to search for the abducted child.
None of them got in panics, concerned about their own child.
None of them went to check if their own children were not abducted.
This is written on the investigation files.Officially.
Why did they not go checking on the most precious thing they have?
——————————————————————————–
I haven’t seen any of the official investigation files. If you have, should you be saying on a blog site what you’ve read in them?

On that note - it cannot be often enough repeated - why have they spoken and acted as if they knew from the beginning this was going to be a long-time affair …?

Tanner was with their child/children.
How do you know the others didn’t check their children?
Because a blogger or paper wrote it?
Has a NAMED source ever said that in public?

Thinking about this whole situation,
in cases of crime there are always the family or relatives that fights for justice for the victim.
Even if the crime happened inside the family itself, you see uncles, cousins or grandparents trying to bring the criminal to justice.
I still did not see any family member of Madeleine’s bringing other version of the story but the version of the McCanns.

Because they believe them Mawd. Is that hard for you to understand?

July 10th, 2008 at 11:30 pm
Maria, only because there are not very concrete evidences it does not mean that the McCanns could not be and not remain suspects.
They are suspects not because of nothing.
The PJ must have very many indications pointing to them.
And the English or Scotish people you meet are completely different of the ones I met in Amsterdam (tourism) who believe Maddy died in the apartment that evening.

Such a charitable Saint is our Lady Justice Hogg, don’t you just want to send her a big bunch of roses, so concerned is she, that subject to availability she has reserved the case to herself, how very very thoughtful. She must be very well respected getting to pick her own cases, and very powerful in the stream of things, such a lovely and fair woman.

Come, come Gandy; you know perfectly well that is a fib.
The idea is that it saves legal fees for a case to be heard by the same judge where possible; that’s why you will find it in just about all of the cases reported…

What happened, Maria, is for the pj to decide - what did not happen is blatently obvious from the inconitancies in the reports. It is much easier to eliminate the impossible - leaving hundreds of possible senarios for the pj to investigate. I think that this is precisely why the case is taking so long to solve. Eliminating what did not happen is the easy part, actually finding proof of the actual crime is not. I have faith in the pj and I congratulate them for not jumping in too soon without the total proof they need to bring closure to the case. Before charges are brought the evidence must be cast iron, particularly in cases like this one, where the McCanns, although protesting thier absolute innocence - forge on to employ the most expensive and high profile lawyers - this alone make me think that there is something which they consider could be damning for their defence in the hands of the pj. Personally - and this is really going to sound very mean - but I wouldnt spit on either of them if they were on fire.

If you are agreeing with me Maria, then could you explain why you are trying to impress upon Cheryl the exact opposite?

Even if the crime happened inside the family itself, you see uncles, cousins or grandparents trying to bring the criminal to justice.
I still did not see any family member of Madeleine’s bringing other version of the story but the version of the McCanns.
They are all united, the poor child is so lonesome.
She must have loved and trusted her parents and family.
