If it is the case, I have to tell you that the British media have changed a lot of this story, last year, hiding things, making up stories.
I could not believe that was coming from a democratic country.
The uniform way of publishing news was scaring.
Breaking down Portugal, canonizing the McCanns.
It looked like the British media were under a dictationship.
The news of the McCanns being made suspects must have been a shock for many of your country.
This make me think of Japan losing the war in 1945.
The second immigrant in Brasil is Japanese, Brasil has a large amount of them.
In ‘45 they did not believe the news Japan had lost the war.
They had had so many misinformation, that they continued believing Japan was still fighting and winning the war.
Only in 1948, the government of Japan sent a delegation of Japaneses to Brasil to tell the Brazilian-Japaneses that Hiroshima, Nagasaki was true and that Japan had capitulated.
Madeleine is not a war and even though British media were hiding and distorcing a lot.
What is behind Madeleine’s case?

Going for the cruel and unusual punishment there, Totje?
I accept that there are three arguidos, I do get disheartened when people cite every wild claim as if it must be true, and I am extremely concerned about the ‘members’ club’ being created at TB’s and Stevo’s instigation. I would have thought that the first question to be answered is whether it is lawful.
On the other hand, having made the ultimate sacrifice of actually ironing a shirt and turning up at the High Court, I was very heartened to see that whatever else might be happening, the police have obviously put in vast amounts of work, and are continuing to put in vast amounts of work, trying to discover what happened to Madeleine.
And they were being supported at the highest level it is possible to have in our legal system…

You may be right. I’ve always said we don’t yet know what evidence the PJ have. They may have some convincing stuff. Even if they haven’t, the Mcs may be guilty and the PJ just don’t have evidence yet. I fully agree.
All I say is that I personally haven’t seen anything to indicate that they harmed Madeleine beyond leaving her asleep in the apartment. An abduction would have been very difficult to effect successfully. Agreed. But I have read all the other theories put forward on Anorak, other sites and in the press about possible ways in which the Mcs could be guilty. So far, not one of them rings true either.
That being the case, I personally just prefer to keep an open mind. That’s all.
Fortunately, liking or disliking people (not that we know them) is neither here nor there, thank God, when guilt or innocence is at stake. Only the truth matters.
I just wondered if you yourself had a theory but I can quite understand if you don’t.

They weren’t in a hotel.
Accuracy matters.
The children may have been alone in the apartments, but they were not in hotel rooms, and every time an inaccurate statement is made it simply takes us further from whatever the truth might be…

He ran out into the road in front of a car. The car swerved hit a fence and rolled down the bank into the river. Unfortunately he hit me cat and he died from head injuries.
