DuncanR is a really nice guy. He talks to me at night through my computer sometimes so that I don’t feel like a sad twat!
I asked my Hubby to have a look at this site tonight and he wouldn’t even look!
He says he could understand me better if I was chatting on a sex-line and not going on about justice for M.
This makes me even more determined to seek justice because if the person who loves me themost thinks I’m a half-wit over this - what the fuck do the general run-of-th-mill public think about this whole farce???

As do we, but I think we are a long way off that point.
The Portuguese obviously have the prior claim insofar as the offence(s) took place in Portugal, but Madeleine was, and I’m sorry to say ‘was’ rather than ‘is’, a British citizen.
Which means that the Portuguese are not the only prosecuting authorities.
I really can’t see the case being ’shelved’ anytime soon…

But we can’t be sure about what offence[s] took place.
Neglect? According to Portugal’s law? Or according to the UK’s law?
Hardly likely they’ll be charged in both countries.
And how about the other tourist who’ve left their children alone in the evening?
They were lucky nothing happened. But they’re as much guilty of neglect as anybody else.
And what prosecutor has the courage to charge the parents of an ‘abducted’ child for neglect?
Or even worse: an [non] accidental death and concealment of a body.
As it happened in Portugal, and it’s most likely they’ll have the evidence [in case there is any] I think it’s up to them [Porugal] to bring charges.
But what if [may be unlikely] she wandered off and something bad happened?
Neglect again I guess. And more likely to bring charges as it’s not a case of an abduction.

I’m lucky we’re leaving Saturday for our holidays and I won’t have any Internet access so I can’t get impatient because of the spins and ‘no news’ stories.
And they’re going to pickup my laptop again… repairing is going to take 2 more weeks. This new graphics card they’ve replaced is faulty…. And the warranty period is going to be extended again.

Saying they will go on Oprah means - that they MEET and SPEAK to Oprah!
Saying that one will meet Oprah on TV is a bit like saying that you will go to a reconstruction if it is in the interests of M!
And what did they do at that point?
Oprah would give them the widest audience and backing they could ever wish to get. More people watch Oprah than the Presient of US - so they are bull-sh*tting lying fuckers if they say that they will meet her! XXXX

I dont think the pair is doted with such a sense of humour
They are more on the choleric side of life with liver problems although they have no problem digesting tons of wine very easily,especially when the children are kept weeeellll out of the way with doors unlocked and shutters jemmied….

I hope the case won’t be shelved, whoever took/harmed/killed Madeleine, but I suppose it’s a question of the resources which can be made available at this stage.
The Mcs know that resources are limited.
In maintaining their own search and looking for ways to keep the fund going for their continuing private investigations, which they say they will not give up, they are either genuinely committed to their “no stone unturned” vow or they are conducting an extremely determined ongoing campaign to cover up a crime of their own.
BTW, the Mcs’ QC thanked the police profusely, on their behalf, at the hearing and the police QC said that the police understood the Mcs’ desire to have as much information as possible.
I am going by reports I have read. chenier will say if that is not the case.
