Madeleine McCann: Child Alert, Daily Mail Knows And Fay Weldon
MADDIE WATCH - Anorak’s at-a-glance guide to press coverage of Madeleine McCann
DAILY MIRROR: “McCanns win child alert fight MADELEINE”
Kate and Gerry McCann yesterday won their fight for an EU-wide missing child alert system, in tribute to their daughter Madeleine. A declaration supporting the couple’s plea attracted backing from at least 398 MEPs - more than half the 785 European Parliament members.
Or as the Mail said earlier in the week: DAILY MAIL: “Brussels throws out McCann’s appeal for European missing child alert system”
THE INDEPENDENT: “Cultural Life: Fay Weldon, Author”
Film
I went to see Ben Affleck’s Gone Baby Gone for Radio 3’s Saturday Review. “Emotionally disturbing” it claimed to be, with its echoes of the Madeleine McCann case, and so it was, and a welcome change from the dull, written-to-formula films that pour from major studios. If profit rather than enthusiasm is the bottom line, all you get is variations on what made a profit last year.
On it goes…

You may be very surprised if I actually knew and would tell you where they are but I wont.
I can tell you one thing: they are being very closely watched….you knô….errr ….kates fragile state of mind

Maybe it’s because I’m American but the judge reminded me of a school principal who has kept naughty children in detention before releasing them to their furious parents and who throws in a “they were perfect while they were here” as an attempt to keep them from getting a beating.
I thought the judge’s comment was funny until I saw how upset everyone was/is. Tells me how strongly people feel about this case.

Justice Mrs Hogg made a serious error, which she had to correct or face the wrath of the House of Lords, Soca and the Attorney General. She became her own worst enemy, bjut did do her best to retrieve the situation. But her Duty of Care is towards the Ward of Court, one Madeleine McCann, not not not Kate and Gerry McCann.
Scroll back to Monday or wait until Chenier appears, she was there, and she fully comprehends English Law

Very true….why dont they sell their precious house instead of calling for support to people who dont really want to hear anything about them anymore and would rather see them hand cuffed?
Their dirty arses are their sole and unique concern
“The family also hope Portuguese authorities will agree to lift their official suspect - or arguido - status next month”
Really?
They are SO deluded!

Jo, my dear
No hidden holidays. It rather grates on you that you don’t know where they went. Such a waste, all that untapped vitriol. But I’m sure we will not be waiting for long

Hoggs has not by any means whatsoever supported nor defended Madeleine”s best interest. Her menopausal whining and “creaming” of the mccanns is just Un-acceptable.
She may be sued for this
__________-
Come on, Jo, give it a break about the Judge. May be sued? By who you? What grounds will she be sued on, Jo? What law(s) did she break by what she said? You do realize that some judges or most judges have kindness in them, don’t you? You’re blowing smoke the same way you blew smoke on here about the Cortes’ feelings about the McCanns. You tried stirring up trouble there and then the big article printed about how they feel for the McCanns and themselves asked that the paedo who took the life of their little girl be questioned about any possible involvement with Madeleine’s disappearance.

463-Yes see your point, but I think they are well aware that they could be up on a child neglect charge and they are trying to avoid a possible -probably deserved jail sentence-the fund raising-well it is too clear I think that they meay need a damned healthy amount to get the best possible defence to clear them at the very least of neglect charges. They don’t seem too concerned about the k ids/pensioners or tax payers that have paid into this fund. BTW has Gerry now paid the 2 mortgage payments back into the fund-he is after all back at work. I don’t know the answer-and this is all in my opinion.

I see your point surely
I believe Hoggs had to say NO to the mccanns and support the LP who has agreements with the PJ.
The Leisestershire Police is involved in relation to a possible child’s death, child neglect and/or child abandonment, and fraud.
The SOCA is only interested in the fraud aspect to the saga and neither the SOCA nor the LP are interested nor do they believe in the mccanns story of abduction. They”ve made it clear on the 7th
I am rather pleased with LP actually because in giving the 81 documents already known by their lawyers, they managed to fool them and they withdrew the demand on the dot.
.It is the rest of the documents which are incriminating. Those are the ones they wanted
They are scared to the soul and with reasons ,hence their “hidden” holidays
Hoggs has not by any means whatsoever supported nor defended Madeleine”s best interest. Her menopausal whining and “creaming” of the mccanns is just Un-acceptable.
She may be sued for this

461 - whoops
That may have been the idea, but it didn’t work. If the parents are involved, I think the do goodism is actually an attempt to justify their fund raising. The McCann’s abandonment of their children is beyond repair, but they may be able to appease the anger of those contributors who feel duped and angry.

459-I think all this do gooding is a means to an end. How can we possibly charge these 2 people who are so concerned about the fate of other children. Nifty move I’d say.

I posted on this topic the other day, yet I am continually amazed at the different interpretations of the judge’s ruling.
My own interpretation is that the judge simply ruled that since the Portuguese courts will not allow the McCann’s text messages from being admissible in their case in Portugal, there is no proof of Maddie’s death.
It is obvious to me that the text messages were the PJ’s stand alone evidence.
At this point, all the PJ has to do is close the parent’s case of the missing child and re-open a criminal investigation of the parents. I think the British judge is anticipating one of two things, 1. charges of gross neglect, which explains her statement that the parents have behaved well since they came back, so give them brownies in jail or whatever, or 2.) she expects the case to be re-filed as a criminal investigation and is trying to secure the cooperation of the British parents.

Bf playing the victim-BTW-I’m neither anti or pro-just feeling mischevious-and getting a bit tired of the poor old us routine-wearing a bit thin. I think if they had said-this is all our doing … I’d start to listen instead of playing the victim… would we have any sympathy if a bank left all of its assets on the counter unattended day after day and someone knicked ‘em-Think not. Let alone banging on about it 15 months later-…

jo, that is quite alright, it must be difficult all that mist floating about in your head, pay attention to what happens to chancers and chanty wrastlers. Pishwater is being put to the sword by various posters on 3arses, who have finally realised his posts are pish, refusing to answer a simple question about a statement he made about Madeleine being dead, and the LP committing contempt by not notifying the court of which Madeleine is a ward of her alleged death. Facts jo facts at all times, don’t become another pishwater.
